  1. A fully healthy Summer combined with all of the returning talent could make UB the MAC favorite. Of course this depends on if any of the other top seniors in the conference like Hooks and/or Kelly choose to return, but either way the women should have a shot at a great season.

  2. The MAC is a good conference that has been valued nationally, especially over the past 5 years. Given a hopefully more normal season with full non-conference slates next year, there will be every opportunity for the conference to be a multi-bid league again.

I'm taking nothing away from them.  They were the better team.  And I said it when Boals got hired there to watch out for them.  Problem for us is they arrived a year too soon.  They will be a problem for years to come unless Boals leaves

Yes and if Boals truly is good, he will leave...and soon.

Why should he?  He can only be exposed by transferring. Whereas he can grow his game and ball out in the MAC

It didn't work out for any of our guys that stayed...and it didn't work out for our guys that left. Preston isnt an NBA player no matter where he goes or doesn't go.

There's not really a run of the mill MAC in MBB, it's the top half that invest and the bottom half that do not. We do, now that we dumped some sports, but...coach is who he is, he could recruit and keep guys, but we see now that the true coaches of our success on D and the working class, hard hat and blue shirts, went to 'Bama.

Ohio is the definition of run of the mill.

  6. We had a good run...now it's back to a run of the mill MAC team. We will make semis...a final here and there. Maybe win one every 6-8 years. That's the SUNY way....we are good at research. If you want to root for teams good at sports, you pick an SEC or Big Ten team.

Will she get a call from Allen Greene who s looking for a new women's coach?

She may, but after not leaving UB after the 2018 and 2019 successes, when we know Coach Jack had the interest of a number of schools, I would be surprised if she left for a situation such as Auburn.

Auburn is a total rebuild for a program that has had limited success within a conference that is currently the deepest in the NCAA and in which there are numerous power house teams. I am sure coach could handle the challenge but it would seem a very odd fit to me. With her son now at UB and the having much of her team back for not only next season but the next two seasons, I would be surprised if coach left now but I suppose there is always the possibility of the "too good to pass up offer."

Here is hoping coach is content at UB and takes the Sue Guevara path of making the very successful MAC program she built be her last coaching position.
