Team is a work in progress obviously. Better game day experience for everyone is when the place is well attended. Comp tickets don't' guarantee a sellout, but if games like last nights event had 5,000-6,000 people in the seats, the culture would grow even for a team that only wins 13 -16 games. Other D1 teams do this. https://cuse.com/form/24 UB administration should know weeks and sometimes months ahead of time what the projected attendance will be for every game. It'd take more work from athletics department, but why not fill those empty seats with youth groups and schools for free if legal or have a drastic ticket price cut for them. There's at least 100,000 kids ages 10-18 in Erie County eligible to fill 2,000-3,000 seats. Many parents would go since their kid would go too. If it ever went back to 2019 days, those seats could be purchased instead.

Just a pet peeve of mine- but did you personally hit the portal hard? Besides a seat donation, chatting with a coach or two at a required event, or harassing an opposing amateur division 1 player busting his behind for everyone's enjoyment, what constitutes a fanboy on being "we"? Or am I reading the musings of a 12 year old? Schmidt is a terrific coach. Best in the big 4 since Oats left. Really outstanding program, rapid fans in the a great atmosphere Riley Center who travel well. Some of their online fans are provincial and nauseating though.

Make your own generalizations based on what I saw in person a that arena... (and that all programs have idiot fans) 1. Bonnie fans only group to consistently boo opposing players- fine if you want to boo at game officials once ever couple of games for an egregious call. Every athlete on the floor is an amateur that has put in thousands of hours and at least deserve the respect of silence. (unless they do something completely over the line.) 2. Bonnies fans only group to argue/harass with event staff who restricted floor area travel to floor seat holders. (part of their job- they are just following orders) 3. Bonnie fans only group to have an Effing drunkard walk around court side dressed like Chief Wahoo
