They have zero ability to score beside the big 3 without Mballa.

Mballa wasn't great in his first game of the season, but man do they miss him. I can't sit and say either game would have gone there way though.

The way they've finished back to back 4 minutes is dumbfounding.

They have a get right sequence against Mercer and then a bad Miami team. If they don't look right in these, we have a much bigger discussion to have on this thread I think.

I know this is a bit off topic but when is the NCAA reviewing waiver eligibility, having Brewton available would really help us

For those interested in watching, info from ubbulls.com

The game will air on ESPN3 and you can also listen along on ESPN1520 and on the TuneIn app.

Should be a good confidence builder, I’m 99% sure we will win this game and be 2-2 going into our next MAC game. Believe we will have a winning record soon enough

UB getting to the rim all day but not finishing, and missing FTs all over the place.  BG turning it over and not looking particularly decisive.  Bulls need a clutch shooter to take over in the second half.  Maybe it's Graves, maybe it's Segu.  But you know Turner and Diggs will be hitting shots for BG.

The game is there for the taking.

This is arguably one of the worst ft shooting teams I’ve ever seen. Bertram is a better ft shooter than Graves smh

A bit unrelated and prob too soon but what are the chances Patterson comes back for his Senior year and most of the line returns? The QBs will be back. I’m thinking with the lack of a full season to show Patterson’s full potential and opportunity to boost his draft stock closer to the first round, he could stick around for next year. Thoughts?

If he stays he’d definitely be considered one of the top three backs in the country, most analysts like his game but have him at the 5-10th best range. Definitely would boost his draft stock for sure but with all the attention he’s getting I wouldn’t be surprised if he leaves after the season, especially if UB wins the Mac and goes undefeated

  5. Will be a tough test, Justin Turner has looked great early in the season. Hopefully Mballa is healthy. UB also changed Robinsons mini paragraph on their pre game article, possibly healthy? Going to have to limit mistakes or we could easily get embarrassed. Hopefully Graves can step his game up

I also think the team and Whitesell should get the benefit of the doubt.  There's nothing normal going on in the world and in sports.  It's early and hopefully there's improvement and more solid recruits in the pipeline.

Specifically in college hoops there's all kinds of wacky non-conference results.  Just yesterday George Washington lost at home to Hampton.   Georgetown lost at home to Navy (who hadn't beaten a Big East team in 35 years).  Kentucky lost to Richmond..  I'm sure UB losing to Army without one of our best players is not the biggest upset out there.

I was literally going to post the same thing. Yes it sucks but teams are getting upset all over the country, we can’t dwell on one loss. I do believe if we had Mballa the game would be a lot different however

  7. I’d expect the team to be quite angry over last year’s performance. If UB can minimize turnovers and have a bit more contribution off the bench there is no reason why we should lose this game. Hope we get to see Skogman play, teams may leave him open from the arc because he’s a big man. Nickelberry played well yesterday, hopefully he can contribute as well

Robinson will be out most likely for UB, wrist injury, will rely heavily on Graves and Segu at the guard position. I’m hoping Nickleberry can breakout and contribute a bit, he’ll be a mismatch if he plays guard. Should be a win for the Bulls if they limit mistakes, Towson will have two games under their belt and could possibly be a bit tired.

If Brewton is available that would help, unsure if he got a waiver to play

Brewton's Instagram shows that he traveled with the team to Mohegan Sun so he must be eligible. I also wouldn't think they'd bring him to an event where one COVID positive would DQ the whole team if they weren't planning to play him. That would be a big addition this year

Brewton is amazing saw him play in person once, only problem of his is that if he gets hot, he never passes. Guy can shoot from deep like crazy
