Only game UB is currently projected to have better than 50% chance to win the rest of the season is home vs EMU.  Maybe we could beat M-OH, BSU, and NIU at home and steal another game on the road somewhere.  So the best I could realistically see the Bulls doing is 6-12 but I’m sticking with 3-15 as more likely.

EMU just knocked off Kent State. Any given day I guess.

A lot of promotions for the staff from their previous roles as coaches.

Very similar to the route that Mo took in football.  No one on either staff to mentor such an inexperienced coaching group.  Maybe both teams would have benefited from an ex "Head Coach" sitting next to them on the bench / sidelines.

Incorrect for Mo. He had Montgomery, an exHC, as OC for his first 2 years.

You can’t recruit a good team when you’re this bad.

If that were true no team would ever improve. It only takes 1-2 good recruits to change your fortunes, esp in the MAC. Some of you are so weak and give up at the slightest bump in the road. This sucks. Doesn’t mean it will forever.

How on earth can talent look at UB and say it wants to come here right now? Maybe because he sees how bad our run game is and knows he can shine? Maybe that’s our way forward, bring in recruits that can make the difference where we currently lack.

Because some people want to build things and know everything can change year to year. Maybe they aren’t all doom and gloomers like some of y’all.

Might want to re-phrase this. They are D1 athletes in major conferences, so to say that none of the NIL is for their athletic ability is false. They wouldn't be in the position they're in now if not for their athletic ability.

Also, this is voluntary thing for each school. We can absolutely stay in Div 1 but simply not offer this benefit. Plenty of our peers won’t be able to afford/offer this either.

I’m not saying we join Cortland and revert all the way back to D3.  But UB is never going to be Penn State either.  Maybe a more realistic regional public university for UB to aspire to be more like is UConn, who is also challenged in developing a consistent winning football program at the FBS level.  But they do have D1 ice hockey…

UConn also subsidizes their Athletic Dept to the tune of ~$50 million a year. They are clearly invested in making it work and have the rings to show for it.
