Definitely fun to think about, even this far out! Guess this was driven by Preston's draft decision after Lunardi had Ohio in the MAC slot in all previous versions.

For the mid-majors who don't really *need* that guarantee money, makes total sense. Otherwise, why not use it as a "free live evaluation" of that high-major's bench players? 😄 Could be a lot of "eye for an eye" type transfers in this new environment. Just one example from last month, South Carolina pulled a guard from Murray State and within a week of that, one of South Carolina's top backup guards was off to Murray.

Ha indeed, assuming BG brings a full squad they roll through this, starting with the Stetson Hats (Hatters!) 😆 only challenge from the other half is Army (bad memories) or maybe Pepperdine.

CSU will be a good challenge for us. Won't have to worry about the high altitude issue at least with all the games being in Texas.

Turns out it was 25 minutes away, but they got it done. Hamlet with the winning shot in OT and Reese with the free throws to seal it. Congrats to them! Definitely could have used them here the last few seasons.

CIT was canceled, but CBI is happening. Maybe Brewton gets to face off with his old teammates at Coastal.

Meanwhile, North Texas with former Bulls James Reese and Javion Hamlet are potentially 20 minutes away from the dance.

I'd say "One more year" takes on a different meaning now than it did with Oats and Hurley. As in one more year to win it with this current group who hopefully stays together, or time to hit the reset button.

Well done, Bulls! Very reminiscent of 2015, now to finish in Cleveland like that team did. Miami shouldn't be overlooked but can't imagine a better first round opponent in terms of redemption from last year.

Nickelberry has really come on recently, surprisingly been one of our better 3 point shooters in the last few weeks. Nice to see all the seniors score and I'd say they all earned the start and the minutes they got tonight.
