Miami settling a bit. They really bring their starters in off the bench, which is interesting.
Meanwhile all the home teams are up near half and Ohio up a whopping 22 on CMU (this team sucks, they should be the 12)
No more excuses. Time to be better than 10-6 at home.
It is, but it's a worse draw than #10 WMU or #9 CMU who we matchup really well with. Miami and EMU don't score, but their defense also kills us.
Line moved to -9
Miami being 1-11 on the road is helpful. However, UB is tied for the worst home record in the MAC with Miami and Toledo (10-6)
5 seed is 16-3 against the 12 seed - lots of close games like in 2017 and 2018 though. BG made a run in 2016 to the semis.
5 seed is also 7-10 against the 4 seed
UB is 0-2 as the 5 seed against the 4 seed
I'm a big JQ fan. I think he is a great motivator and person. I do like that Whitesell kept him on the staff.
Coach AT I have my reservations about. I don't know a ton to comment. I do know that he comes as an associate HC from a really bad program at UMKC.
The third hire to replace Jenkins who was a big miss for the program (set the team back in recruiting for a potential of 1-3 spots plus the two they have) is going to be a big spot for the team!
That’s why you need to be in the top 4 and not lose to EMU or Ohio.
It’s the teams in those seeds I’m referring to. I just listed the finals for the entire path.
Playing NIU/Akron is a much harder path to the finals than BSU/BG.
Kent in the 6 has a better path. that was the point.
