Yea I’d take the over too but I still feel like that is high.. if our offense stays cool and our defense performs like we know they can for a full game it could be lower scoring...this is why I’m not betting on the game lol

Seriously. I’ve thought the same thing. I’d really rather they can close out a game no matter what but it’s weird how that’s happened. I have a feeling this one is going to be close throughout though until someone goes on a little run with about 8 minutes to go in the game to solidify the win. I guess we’ll find out soon. Less than 24 hours people!

Man I posted this same exact thing earlier in the season and got eaten alive haha but I love it! I get all giddy thinking of expanding athletic facilities at UB. Totally agree we have way more pressing needs. I really like alumni and the new video board was a massive upgrade when I was in school there but it would be cool to expand on it. Digging down to make a bowl would be neat. Someone mentioned they move the seats for other events etc. so I don’t have any type of solution for that but getting permanent seating on the south side and filling the corners would be cool. That being said the south seats are actually pretty darn nice for being foldable

I’m kinda in the middle here. No doubt this season has been one for the record books and our record and ranking have been a dream come true. I’ve sat/stood through so many disappointing buffalo losses throughout the years it’s amazing how much success we’re having. That being said I can understand some of the frustration. This team has all the pieces to be insanely good. I know the MAC is much better this year and every team is giving us their best but we just haven’t played to our potential in a while and it’s mostly due to lapses in focus. Great teams like we all know we can be know how to put a team away for good and that’s just something we haven’t been able to do the last 7 games. While I’m appreciative of all the wins I just can’t help but be nervous that this season could end way sooner than we know it could go. This team has the capability to make a deep run in the tourney but I just fear that our performance of late just can’t sustain our winning for much longer. I hope I’m wrong and we go out and demolish Toledo Friday and put all doubts to rest. Just...it’s possible to be appreciative and worried at the same time. As good as our record is right now there’s still a real chance we don’t even make the tournament which unfortunately could tarnish the whole season. Let’s go whoop the rockets and start playing like I know we can

If anything let those articles fuel our team for Friday. We all know they aren’t playing to their potential but a win in Akron is good no matter what the circumstances. That being said I’m glad Oats isn’t afraid to call it how it is and say where we need to improve. I think we are all just nervous because that kind of performance likely won’t cut it at Toledo. Turnovers were a big problem but can be easily fixed on a lot of them by just focusing. I’m a little more worried about the assists. I remember this team being super unselfish and passing the ball all over the place leading to wide open shots all The time . We need to get back to that. Perkins will have better games, Harris will get his shots back, and turnovers can be fixed easily...let’s get to it. All that being said, we can play as ugly as we want as long as we come out with a win on Friday. All these people can shut up if we come out with a q1

Yea that’s gotta be brutalll. I’d rather the higher ranked team lose though. Closer to us. I feel especially bad for the guy that slipped and gave duke an easy 2. Penn state with a big upset but Michigan is way to high for that to matter much for us. Could be good for Marquette though which could be sorta better for us. maryland bearing Purdue sucks for us since they are right in front of us. That’ll give them a bump. Sucks that LSU won on a controversial last second play. Too bad Texas couldn’t beat k-state but we will be k-state fans later in the week. About the only good thing that happened was Wisconsin lost at home but being as it was to #11 I don’t think it’s enough for them to drop below us. Now if they lose their next game I think to Illinois I’d expect us to leap them (assuming we beat Toledo which is no given of course)

Def need to limit turnovers. Thought we got totally out-rebounded but apparently we beat them..didn’t expect that. We didn’t shoot terribly either but we can def do better. We just couldn’t really pull away when we had chances to. I guess that happens when you’re on the road idk. But we escape with a win and that’s what matters. Great FT shooting. Over 80% overall. Need to bring our a-game Friday. Going to be a lot more difficult to win there
