  1. It's also interesting that the target of most UB Fans ire regarding our coaching staff is the highest paid of all the coordinators 😂
  2. Hopefully their gigs after Kansas will pay as well or they squirrel a little away.
  3. Looks like the coaching staff is now complete. We got Matt Stansfield from Duquesne who handled their running game, OL and TEs. They appeared to have a very good OL and the RB set school records for rushing. Looks like a good hire of w younger up and comer. We have very experienced OC and DC, with some young guys from P5 backgrounds. Looking forward to seeing how they mold our talent. I’m very excited for this group.
  4. Thanks for the info, but this is very disheartening coming from the inside. I don't blame the players, but the situation. Hopefully we can pickup some players to fill holes for this season and some of the young guys get their chance and run with it. The college football environment as it is currently setup screwed us hard and feel bad for the players and Coach Mo and the hill he has to climb. I'll be rooting hard for these guys (even more than normal) to overcome this and have a great year despite the challenges.
  5. If money is what makes you happy you are 100% correct. If you actually want to win football games, my money is on Gall. Plus he has a basketball school that has unrealistic football expectations breathing down his neck. Also, his interaction with donors is going to get ramped up, which doesn't seem to be his forte. I could be completely wrong and he is the silver bullet to turn that around and they can become a respectable Big-12 team like Baylor has become, but I don't think that will be the case. A 6-6 Kansas coach maybe become a hot commodity for a Big 10 or SEC future team so he could parlay this into something better.
  6. I'm thinking Gall may have a happier year than Lance.
  7. Says he's moving to guard or center. Baylor also picked up a transfer OL from Vanderbilt so they are obviously needing an upgrade or filling some holes.

  9. Hopefully this is the first of many official announcements. We need all the coaches in the fold to move this thing forward.
  10. That's a big leap for him, hopefully it plays out to his advantage, but a big loss for us short term. Whomever was pushing him last year now needs to grab those horns and run with it.
  11. Hopefully Coach Mo or whomever is communicating with the players as the coaching staff get stabilized. I'm eagerly awaiting an announcement to confirm all of the guys who are supposedly joining. In this day and I age I take nothing at face value. We need more than one guy on our official coaching roster. I assume behind the scenes has deeper discussions but what we are seeing, but seems like daily 1 or 2 players enter the portal so I'm wondering what kind of stability the kids are feeling at this point.
  12. I thought he may be one of the ones to stay, being exciting for a secondary guy, but I guess not. Oh well, next!!
  13. So what do we have left? OL Coach and Linebackers? Maybe a QB Coach. I think we also have a Strength and Conditioning Coach from Minnesota.
  14. My biggest concerns of the list are still OL and DL. There are 4 OL, 2 starters so we need to figure that part out. It feels like the OL Coordinator was a big influence and is now gone. That's one position coach I haven't seen anything on from Coach Mo. Maybe once we get that person locked in, we can stabilize that position.
  15. Did he decommit from Florida State?
  16. Very true, I guess it's just the timing of everything that has me thrown. We are pushing June and summer football practices are like end of July/early August. For some positions you can just move on and get plugged in, but other positions, it's not that easy even if you are a stud at your position. Some guys may see someone with a better pedigree coming in our freshman class. Plus we haven't considered anyone that may want to come with either Mo or the numerous assistants coming in. Could be a wild month coming up.
  17. Hopefully both. He would be a huge (pun intended) re-commit.
  18. I like the fact they are coming from difference conferences and different experiences. Should make for a well rounded staff to really help the existing guys and be able to recruit from a lot of different regions and backgrounds. Looking forward to seeing how this plays out. It also may set us up for the next coach as an internal hire. Lots of young people looking for their chance and some nice veteran coaches sprinkled in. Lets go Bulls!!
  19. Will be tough to get a new landing spot now. Sad that he thought that was a good group to hang with instead of working on his game.
  20. We did it for the Pattersons, but 3 is a big commitment. Don't begrudge them at all. If they can make it happen, what a cool experience. Certainly would save on travel for the folks 😀 If coach Mo thinks it works and we have the scholarships, would be good to see him back, if not, I hope they find a nice landing spot that really helps each of them succeed.
  21. That was pretty ridiculous of him. Probably won’t help in the future either. Could have approached that much differently as a professional. Their offenses seems pretty good at their level. The fact he’s been at the upper level and the big chair is a plus and should flatten the learning curve.
