I don't hold any animosity towards them, they have to do what they feel is best for their future. As I have said before, the timing of everything is just so unfortunate for all sides. I do agree that unless there is a gaping hole on a team, it's unlikely to just step in and start Day 1. Maybe Novitsky if Lance is using a similar offensive scheme, but that's a lot to learn in a short time.

That's very unfortunate. If so, Next Bull In. Hopefully the next young man is ready to take that step. Nobody is irreplaceable.

I’m that case Hodgson should be getting a lot of phone calls next year if Alabama continues their success if ADs think he brings more than recruiting. Nate’s star shines bright so some may perceive him as everything and the assistants as bit players. As for our team, I am more than happy with the recruits we assembled this year.

We may hear some things today regarding the staff since the official introduction is today at 11. I feel like the D will be in good hands, but we need someone on the O side that has a vision. After all 0-0 games are still a tie not a win.

The 4 from before are still shown along with Coach Mo. Rob Ianello is now listed as WIDE RECIEVERS/RECRUITING COORDINATOR. Might not be bad to keep him if we can.

I believe he is referring to Jamie Quarles, who many believe should be the head coach. Perhaps they are right, but I don't know enough about him to say that. He seems to have a good rapport with the team and I think the staff overall, along with Angres Thorpe are very solid. When I was a student at UB in the early 90's a lot of people thought Frank Reich was the best QB on the Bills too. Assistant coaches and Backup QBs are some of the best positions to be in for your self esteem 😄

If I recall correctly, he had a really good day against Marshall. Maybe ended up on their radar as a result.

What's the draw of Western Kentucky? Isn't that where Lefebvre went? Roy Baker went to Eastern Kentucky, so maybe something down there is exciting.

Looks like Eddie Wilson got an offer from Marshall. Hopefully he stays with us. He was really a difference maker in the middle.

You are right, it’s not yet, we just need to lock down our OL and I’ll feel better. I’m also interested in the OC philosophy and how it aligns with our current and incoming players skill sets.

Agreed, I think he is a great hire in the long run. I'm hopeful he can right the ship and keep it on course for this season. We have a very good recruiting class and good core. The guys in the portal I'm most concerned about are the O-Line guys. We need to bring them back into the fold, that's our strength and we will need our running attack. Meyers is the question. Perhaps he doesn't see a future here or maybe he thinks this a new shot for him. Alot may depend upon the OC and what style of offense he uses.

Sounds like a man of integrity and not just telling a kid what he wants to hear and then moving on. I look forward to seeing what he does as the HC. Sounds like a guy people would do battle for. My big concern is what kind of staff he can put together at this stage of the year. I guess time will tell.

I’m impressed with his list of recruits, hopefully that translates well here. We will see in the next few weeks with our portal players. Maybe even McDougle back in the fold.

If it makes you feel any better, Kansas has 23 in the portal and have already lost several who have signed elsewhere. Hopefully coach Mo can bring our portal total to 0 soon. He talks to the team in the morning.
