Sportsfan
New turf field announced in June and still traveling around to play home games. Also, little info if they have even started. Anyone on campus see any progress?
dj_paige
I should walk over to Nan Harvey field next time I'm in the area (which is, actually, every single day). So I can let you know.
rma
The heavy equipment needed to remove the hundreds of thousands of gallons of water from the field is the likely holdup. Sources say that dumping that much water in Lake Erie will cause the water level to rise too high, so the water must be trucked to Lake Ontario. For those who want to lower the football field, imagine how much water would have to be moved to do that.

Somehow the football field and track don’t have the same issue Nan Harvey Natatorium has. I think the football/track stadium might even be a bit lower in elevation too.
