My previous comment was made before Skogman committed. Hugley may not sign but I’ve got a new sense of confidence in the staff. Glad to see us aiming high.

Late to the party and I’m sure I’m echoing everyone else but this is monstrous. We needed height and got it. A big we can develop for hopefully four years. A skilled big who can play in and out. He can contribute immediately and grow over time through experience. Hopefully he adds 10-15 lean pounds over time. This is very exciting and big for the staff. I’m starting to believe in this staff. It shows we aren’t going anywhere and can stay atop the MAC. Go Bulls! Let’s add 3 more guys who can develop and/or contribute.

Also received an offer from Iowa today. Looks increasingly like it will be a long shot to make his list once he begins to trim.

Glad to see us keeping an eye open towards the future. With the staff so focused on trying to get players for this coming season it would be easy to fall behind for future classes.

I’m not saying that a transfer season is a redshirt season. The two are two different things. Maybe I’m wrong but when a players transfers the season he has to sit out is a lost year of eligibility. Therefore if a player uses a redshirt during the sit out year he doesn’t lose a year of eligibility. That’s my understanding. Please fact check that. Updating/correcting myself: Transfers don’t lose a year of athletic eligibility. I’m wrong. Either way he’s committed to Houston.
