All three have to wave the towel? Cage wasn't exactly towel waver or bench clapping when he played, why would he change? We don't have a lot of guys. What is energy? Define that? Bench clapping? raising the roof on a 3 pointer? We need the bench to act like monmouth?

Actually most of you posters are new compared to me, 2004 JW is almost 20 years older than BH or NO. Talk to me in 5 or 10 years. We all slow down with age. Energy? I don’t find bill self and his bench coaches as energy coaches. The bench has a few towel wavers at the end.

I understand that but the ncaa/colleges do way too many things that don’t make money. Ie luncheons, committees, guaranteed games. Kinda crazy Buffalo athletics relies on Missouri to pay our bills with 40 pt loss. Private equity will fix a lot of things. I think army, Florida, ucf all have the correct model. License the schools name to a 501 non profit. I think that is where more college athletics will follow.

Ub law school would be a week late. You can read hundreds of attorneys on this ruling already. The point is…how is img academy football players not considered an employee? Img and oak hill are on tv a lot more than Dartmouth. the decision will be appealed. Doesn’t apply to state schools, doesn’t apply to schools that compete vs public schools in the same conference ie northwestern.

Based on that almost of all youth and high school are pros. I would love to see the P/l of a lot of college teams. The ruling would make hs and youth kids pros. I would love to see the P/L of img football or oak hill or mont. Academy basketball

Good for him. A lot of people enjoy perks from work. although, that picture shows a lot of “ncaa wastes a lot money” in my opinion. I do welcome private equity to college athletics.

If we wanted to add hockey, I think Murchies would donate for it. I can't imagine Warde, White, Greene, or Alnutt would look into it.

I think we should ban all posts regarding the eXtreme until they fix the school's name on their anglefire web site.

Why would we fire Alnutt? This makes zero sense. Obviously, Alnutt doesn't let the donors do whatever they want, otherwise we would have hockey or at least do the study to support the cost of adding hockey at Buffalo. Neither happened.

The practices are “technically” open. Carry a racket or run the stairs. Hurley was the best practice coach. A lot of fun to watch. George….in my opinion, is running his first practices and learning on the job.

The HC and AD might both be to blame, but pushing the AD to replace HC isn't exactly a slam dunk. Why would you let the Alnutt hire a new head coach? Waiting until 2026 for a new AD to pick a new HC could be the better play. Unless we're paying the AD to sit home and do nothing or he gets a new job, my understanding he is vested in 2026, not a chance he leaves on his own if that is true. Now in 2026, you have a opportunity for a new AD to hire someone with a vision and ambition wanting this job because we bottomed out and we're the Oakland A's of the MAC, the new AD could build us into the Yankees. The problem with UB athletics or SUNY, although DW got rid of a lot of lifers, we still have people from the Bill Maher era.
