Many season ticket holders in my section are not renewing. Some have had tickets for over 15 years. I am renewing but I will not renew all my seats. I see no improvement for the next several years. GH “the third” is not the future on UB MBB. Danny White added a PSL fee to most season ticket holders seats and the current product does not justify this add on seat fee. It’s a shame what has happen to the athletic department under the current incompetent AD.

The season, the fan experience , the AD, the coaching, the nonchalant, disrespectful attitude of the majority of players, especially #5 during the playing of the National Anthem were all a disgrace. The best part of the season were the Dazzlers!

I guess there will be no season ticket fan appreciation night this year. We deserve something after supporting this brutal team and rookie coach!

Fire the AD and hire Turner Battle either as AD or coach. Also change to a Northeast Conference. Buffalo is not a mid west college. I believe there would be more fan interest and would appeal to more transfers if a change was made.

it's been reported that UB gave him a 5 year contract. Let’s hope th AD did the right hire for such a long term contract.

I have been a season ticket holder for over 15 years. I have seen the good, bad and the in between. I have seen reasonably priced tickets skyrocketing over those 15 years. The added seat fee instituted by Danny White was justified by the signing of Bobby Hurley and the prospect of good things to follow. It worked when we had Hurley and Oates. In this climate of the transfer portal, a dull mid west conference, a lackluster team and grim outlook makes all ticket and fees overpriced. Drastically reduce cost of tickets, seat fees and get more people back in the Arena. Since I’m venting I also suggest that they fix the internet in the Arena.

The Bulls bench players put on a better show than the starters. They were dancing and jiving on the sidelines and appeared to care less about what was happening on the field. Besides lack of talent this team suffers from lack of character

I am sure UB has had discussions with Tunney Murchie, the largest donor, and get his input regarding who will the Bulls next head coach

Whoever it was from UB who gave and then extended the contract with Whitesell should never be allowed to be at the negotiation table again! He was the safe choice after Oates left but he never should have been extended especially with those staggering buyout numbers. Knowledgeable basketball people knew we wasn’t going anywhere. He is an assistant coach at best. Mark Alnutt should also been shown the door. Can anyone recall what he has accomplished? I am a longtime season ticket holder and will renew once again and pay the extremely inflated seat license fee. Any thoughts?

Correction Reggie was fired by Danny White when he got off the bus. Former University at Buffalo basketball coach Reggie Witherspoon expressed continued surprise over his dismissal Monday and said he’s still unclear what motivated new athletic director Danny White to release him after 14 years on the job.

Remember when Reggie lost the first game in the MAC tourney and when he returned home he was immediately fired by Greene. Do you think history might repeat itself. I thought Whitesell was coaching for his job in the second half.

Would anyone care to share their thoughts and experiences at this dinner on February 10? Let me be first. The dinner was an embarrassment and never should have been held. The dinner consisted of 2slices of pizza with no napkins and j bottled water. A long lined formed only to be told they ran out of pizza within 15 minutes. The dinner was handed out by a student behind a card table. Frustration, and insulting to the season ticket holders. I didn’t expect a full course dinner but expected something similar to the food served in the Bull Pen prior to the every game. However on the other side there was a student section well staffed with food, trinkets and Chick - fil-a sandwiches along with prepackaged pizza and wings. There was no one from the pillar’s catering company or UB administrators to explain why this happened. There is already a lack of amenities including non existent internet service at the Alumni Arena. UB should be ashamed of themselves.

The fans at halftime didn’t look happy because there is NO INTERNET SERVICE - Tripathi please correct this!!!

Absolutely agree regarding the lack of internet access. I placed a call to the AD several weeks ago but to no avail.

I totally agree- get rid of both of them. I am a season ticket holder and while I suspected this would be a disaster of a season and so far that’s just what it has been. There are rows and rows of empty seats that were once season occupied by season ticket holders. The addition seat fee of $250 per is ridiculous and there are no fan amenities plus the guest internet service is actually no service. At this point I am not sure if I will hold my nose and renew next year
