Really like what I see. Another good ballhandler with size which we can use. I can see him fitting in at the 3 spot and give us a nice size lineup.

15-20 minutes a game for Brock, what are you smoking? If he plays 5 minutes I’d be suprised. Hardnett and Skogman probably going to be getting minutes behind Mballa. My only disappointment is that I was kinda hoping Brock or Fagan transferred so we could have brought in a Juco big man who could have contributed and took some pressure off of Mballa. Our front line is kind of an unknown right now once you get past Mballa. No certainty that Hardnett, Fagan, nickleberry or Skogman going to really perform as of yet. I’m hopeful Hardnett steps up his game a bit. We are stacked at guard so not concerned there.

For this to happen wouldn’t someone have to transfer? We should really use someone at that spot. Maybe Fagan or Brock or someone would grad transfer that would be huge!!

Love it, we are stacked at the guard position and deep. Multiple scorers and ball handlers will keep us with same uptempo pace. My only concern really is our frontline, once you get past Mballa there is some uncertainty there. Hopefully Hardnett puts on some muscle so he can play a bigger role.

Huge pickup, absolutely love it! We needed another ball handler in mix who can do it all. Our backcourt is now set. I’m gonna say probably Segu and Zackary will start with Graves, Williams and Mballa. We still need another impact wing who can play the 3/4. Nickel berry hasn’t shown any signs so it’s really important we get someone who can have an immediate impact so we can be in position to make that run this coming year.

Hope this kid chooses us. We def could use another PG can’t just rely on Segu and Robinson, plus lot of times we play a 2 pg lineup anyway as it gives us more ball handlers and easier to push the pace. Assuming Graves doesn’t go for nba, he’s likely gonna start in the 3 slot.

100% agree there. No chance to replace Jordan with what they got now. I like Segu, but he brings nothing to the table like what Jordan brought defensively and driving the ball to hoop. I see them as middle of pack team probably sitting in that 4-7 range in conference. Best thing to happen is if Brock/fagan/nickel berry transfer, would open up lot of spots to get some quality In there.

Agreed not fair to call him trash that’s just me frustrated after he had another horrible game when we needed him to show up. But a big disappointment I think is fair. The numbers back me on this just look at his game to game stats throughout the year, he just didn’t have the impact we all expected coming into the year.

No this is not a heck of year, it’s a fail. Had the talent to get to tourney and just lost to 12 seed on home court. If we made it to semis and lost to Akron I say ok it was a solid year and we made a run at it. But no you end like we just did you not getting any credit from me.

You need to bring in a star caliber player that can finish games. That’s how you win these close games. We had none on this team offensively. You saw Graves try to take that role in numerous games this year and failed just too many times. He’s ideally best as a second or 3rd option. Hopefully we have that in one of the recruits, because as the team is constructed now, I see us as a middle of the pack Mac team without Jordan.

He is trash I’m glad only 1 year of him. All this talk about how good he was in my mind a huge disappointment. He might have had like 3 good games all year.

Program changing loss takes all the momentum away that we built all these years. I feel bad for Davonta to end your career with a garbage team effort. I’m sorry but Whitesell apparently a defensive coach but simply no effort there. Graves just not the guy, he had his chance this year but the inconsistency and just low basketball IQ at times is just unacceptable. I actually was stupid enough to think this team had a good chance, but the inconsistency was there all year. No way they could put 4 good games together, and they are terrible at home makes no sense.

He goes down as arguably the best pg in UB history. If he finds a way to lead us to third Mac championship in a row, I don’t think it would be much of an argument as I’d have to give it to him!

Agree with you there Williams has shown flashes, but not consistent there either. I thought Graves would have taken that next step, but he just hasn’t.

Agreed. Inconsistent player, can score 28 pts and get hot or 10 pts on poor shooting. He’s shown this entire season, just not a consistent elite caliber player. And he’s never been a great defender. Problem is we don’t have one guy who we can rely on like that. BG got Turner, Akron got Jackson, NIU got German. We don’t have anyone like that.

Anyone who seriously says that has been sleeping over the last 4 years. Jordan has played big on the biggest stages there is. He’s a leader and started on back to back Mac champs teams, I’ll ride w him all day. He was in a slump for a while which we saw, but when he’s going he’s a winner all day long!!

Hell yes huge win!! Wow did Graves kill it second half!! We just didn’t want to put that game away but finally got it done. Give credit to Jordan too he had a great game and hit his free throws too!!!

Is graves playing in this game, you wouldn’t know if you watched first half? Too many games like this for him...

Bring in Mballa, Hardnett not cutting it!

Credit to Jordan, played like garbage most of game, but didn’t let that effect his defense at the end. Why was Segu not on the floor in obvious fouling situation? We should have all our best ft shooters out there then. win is a win I’ll take it we need to get on a roll rest of way thru

Agree with all these points, one other thing they don’t have is a closer. When game on the line we’d give the ball to CJ and usually he’d make the right play or get it to someone who would. I think Graves has shown you he is clearly not that guy. When the game is on the line and it’s winning time, we just don’t have a playmaker to make the big play.
