People on here were were acting as if there would never be a coach or a team. Internally, it was a lot smother that it appeared on this board. Most of the stuff floated did not come from UB.

With the exhibition game tomorrow, it appears we have a coach, staff and players. Use this as a reminder that the next time no coach has been hired in five days, to just relax, everything will be ok by the start of the next season.

BrooklynBull replied to BrooklynBull's topic in Buffalo Bulls Football
Price is the same in advance or at the gate. Tickets can be bought at the gate on the south end of the stadium, away from the scoreboard. https://www.ticketmaster.com/ub-stadium-tickets-buffalo/venue/1181 -
Game is at 3:30 on ESPN+. Last home game on a Saturday. UB had its first ever win at the D-IA level against Bowling Green in 2000. That led Bowling Green to fire their coach and hire Urban Meyer as their head coach. The rest is history.

There are actual periods, when you can actually put your name in it. I think this statement is that he is going to put his name in the portal. One period starts the Monday after all of the conference championship games. There is another period after the spring practice season. Not sure how long the periods are, but as simple Google search should turn up the actual open periods for the portal. -

If you are going to refer to yourself in the third person, please call yourself "UB Horns Up". His job is academics. That will get the fans to come in November, a cold wind blowing off of Lake Erie in November. I believe Gordon Lightfoot wrote about this better than I ever could: -
The Athletic: December 16 Cure Bowl (Orlando) vs. Appalachian State CBS Sports: December 23 Idaho Potato Bowl (Boise) Wyoming (The Josh Allen Bowl?) ESPN (Bonagura) December 16 Bahamas Bowl (Bahamas) Liberty (Highly unlikely since this is a week three game) ESPN (Schlabach) See CBS Sports

It is also very expensive to leave the ACC. The schools have a grant of rights of their media rights to the conference though 2036. This means the ACC owns the schools broadcast rights to their home games. So if a school were to leave to another conference, the ACC would own their TV revenue obtained from the other conference. Which means if a school leaves their TV money goes to the ACC which will then share within the ACC. Which means they get nothing through 2036.
