  1. I watched the replay when I got home from the bar. Pretty sure Williams was benched after that travel you mentioned. Segu was definitely excited over excited, rushed through an open 3 and had a travel or two. They'll come into their own. Someone pointed out that both were shooting in Alumni at 2:30am after they got back.
  2. Marquette has two wins against ranked teams so far this month. This game is key to resolving some uneasy feelings that I have about this team and their current ranking. A win would be phenomenal, historic. Possibly landing them in the top 10? Crazy to think. 81-76 Bulls.
  3. Terry went to Penn State, and Kim to Houghton. Not surprising on either count. The Jacobs family has donated over $50M to the University, Jeremy Sr is an alum. None of the other billionaires in Upstate have a real connection to the school. Maybe Golisano, I saw him at a football game in '07.

  5. Nope, both of those things happened for me, too. Also gratuitous overuse of the under-the-basket angle, completely missing plays.
  6. Sit there sharpening your Ka-Bar, talking about the deer/girl/dog/Cummins Diesel that got away.
  7. Appears so. Nephew of John, cousin of Patrick. http://www.ncccathletics.com/sports/mbkb/coaches/Bill_Beilein?view=bio
  8. Tough call. I would say let him rest, but I don't think we want to chance a loss to LeMoyne.
  9. I know you're talking Student attendance, but the LeMoyne game might be well attended given UB's record and LeMoyne's ties to the region - both geographically and via basketball lineage. LeMoyne's coach is a WNY native and the son of Michigan coach John Beilein. They have a large extended family in WNY, most of whom have ties to local basketball.
  10. Caught the last couple mins of this one, Houston heald on
  11. At the Beer Co, big guy by the door. I recommend this garage for anyone driving in Opera House Parking Center 1426 Broadway St, Detroit, MI 48226 (313) 965-4052 https://goo.gl/maps/V8Q8m7ZxhcL2
  12. Derp. Reading comprehension fail, my bad.
  13. Afterward? I'd be open to it. You guys coming out before the game?
  14. What time are we looking to converge on the brewery? Just picked up my tickets about an hour ago, I was in line behind Red.
  15. Here's something that will likely make you cringe: Over the summer I ignorantly responded with "UCSF" to a trivia question asking for Bill Russell's alma mater. Got credit for it, doubling my team's score. I didn't realize there was a USF, and teammate was adamant that he attended university in San Francisco but unsure of the school.
  16. Same thing with Kent and the MAC Center IIRC, though it's been a while.
  17. Not sure how we did it back in the day, but I feel like we were chanting most of the game, every game. In Cleveland this year I lost my voice after the semifinal.
  18. I am, tentatively. Trying to confirm who is coming with me.
