  1. I could not disagree with you more, but there is no surprise in that. You say "That is how we get on the big stage", but we have already been on the big stage a few times. And we have been ranked for almost an entire season. We were on lists of "longest undefeated teams" last year and "longest home winning streaks". We were in the conversation the entire year. That's what I see as success. Last year was a big, big success. I want that every year. They talked about UB being the "Gonzaga of the East" last year. Well...with those loses to Dartmouth and Army, we won't hear that again for a long while. Basically, I am looking beyond "three days in Cleveland". Any team can get hot and win for those "three days in Cleveland". I want UB to be a constant force on the college basketball scene. We saw it last year and I want it to happen every year. EVERY GAME MATTERS when you are a team like UB trying to constantly establish your brand. I 1000% disagree with you that "this is all about March and getting into the NCAA tournament". I would have agreed with you ten years ago and I said so at the time. We are past that now.

  2. After a bad loss to Army, I saw three players post their individual stats. I don't generally mind that, but not after the worse team loss in a while.

  3. TV: ESPN+ Radio: TuneIn Live Stats: UBBulls.com I know that OOC "doesn't matter" or whatever because we're not getting at at-large but I'm going to call this a must win. Reggie and co. are going to come in motivated, we can not drop another rough game at home.

  5. You can succeed to a certain extent as a team with selfish players, see 2014-15 with Evans. He and Moss would argue before games who between them would score the most points. But if you truly want to reach your fullest potential as a team, it must be with a team like last year where everyone is in it for each other, from defense, offense and transition with everyone making the extra pass and taking charges and never giving anything less than 100% effort.

  6. Ohio is also ranked 107 right now, giving the MAC East the top 4 and 5 of the top 7. (Eastern is the other West team ranked in the top 150, but with all the non-D1 games they show a 5-1 record against a SOS of 329.) Of those top 7, Buffalo has the best SOS at 38, no one else is better than 175.

  7. I agree with you. The crazy thing is that outside of a few players, everyone on this team was here last year. They should know the culture. Yet certain guys were playing with this me first attitude. It needs to change ASAP. Sharing the ball and communicating on defense need to improve. And certain guys need to stop chucking up shots for stats. They aren’t James Harden and don’t or won’t have any pro ball future playing this way.
