Yeah I admit that my tone is sarcastic but I'm tired of the ragging on kids who committed to a different coach and got stuck in a shit situation. Not to mention the gaslighting of "you just don't know ball like I do", and insinuation that calling it what it is makes me a bad fan. We posted a .129 winning percentage this year, the last season that some of our contemporaries posted a winning percentage that bad. It feels like people want to believe that the issues will leave with Chatman/Adams/Jones/Smith, when we haven't really seen anything that suggests that they will.

Lani Cornfield from Lake Shore HS and member of the Seneca nation is transferring to UB from Southern Mississippi. She will be a Senior. 25.2 mpg. 8.3 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 91 assists, 54 steals. Shot 41.1% FG and 39.6% 3-Pt (best on the team). Tenacious defender. Sounds like a solid add. She is 5'6 and listed as a guard.

Maybe this was just a genius move by GHIII to set the bar so low that anything he does next year will be a massive upgrade and will be seen as improvement. If he gets to 8 wins he can put "Improved win total by 100% in second year" on his resume.

Not sure if this is the right thread but Isaiah finally hit the portal. Adams, Smith, and Jones were locks for the portal. I think anyone else ending up in there at this point would be a bit of a surprise.

My argument is that from the time he stepped foot on the court this season, he was out to put up whatever numbers he could regardless of what that meant to the team or the win column. I think he was a turnover machine. I think that once AJ and Sabol started having some growth in their game he intentionally did not pass them the ball. I believe his defense was non-existent. If a player will not buy in to a coaches philosophy, the coach can either suck up a lost season or bench them completely. In hindsight, I wouldn't be surprised if GH3 chose the benching. However, he has hours of video to show his future teams as to how NOT to play team basketball. As to your total minutes item, he averaged 33 mpg this year and 29.7 mpg last year. He missed several games due to injury, so he would likely have surpassed that. I only mention that as you seem to be implying that GH3 failed to not play him enough this year. 22.8% on 3-Pointers with 149 attempts is deplorable for a Senior.

I will be very surprised if he ends up with a "good team".

I hear you on PG being a weak spot, especially because Adams (still on the team as of now) handled so much point. But inside we're replacing Sy and Jo with Oboh as things stand. We already had weak rim protection and suspect rebounding. Replacing a star and a vet role player with one unknown freshman is questionable. PG: Fulcher SG: Boldin, Sabol Wing: Adams, Graham, Batchelor, Wilson, McVeigh, Jackson, Akot PF: Williamson C Oboh It's just a very strange roster balance at this point with only one spot yet to fill.

Should be a really solid team if they can pull it together. The only loss is really Rana. KJ was an inspirational leader and solid in the locker room, but I think we can improve what she provided on the court. i give her huge props playing as a mom, getting her degree and coming back from an Achilles. She could have easily packed it up anywhere along the way, but she didn’t. i wouldn’t mind either her or Rana as GAs to stay around the team.

Probably best for both sides. Personally I never liked his game and we need his scholarship slot freed to revamp things. One of the strangest jump shots I've ever seen, landing about three feet in front of where he took off. Hope he finds a good spot to finish his education.
