It would be 3. He graduated highschool in June 2017, lol. He went prep school for 17-18, Chipola for 18-19 and 19-20 and has an injury waiver his 2nd year. Hurt/covid in 20-21 3 years left. Im not sure if he'll play them all with him already being around 22. But with his current Chipola coach on the staff, as well as being from Syracuse, and thanking us for sticking with him, I could see him playing out at least 2 or even all 3 of those years. Side note: he's UB's third highest recruit ever, per 247. His three star .888 would put him only behind Williams and Harris.

I was told he selected Buffalo. I was then told last week something happened. I have no news yet that it jeopardized his commitment, but it might have. I'm not sure if UB offered another player, they were waiting for something academically, or an issue came up.

Great get IMO. Houston fans bummed to lose him. Only fired him because they had people after Belk, their DB coach.

It's safe to say he is a football guy. He actually probably took suggestions and used the search firm. He'd admit he's a football guy first. In basketball (per source) he lost his top choice and then defaulted back to their 2nd best assistant coach who sold him a bill of goods based on keeping a few players.

Lance had many back-to-back last rated recruiting classes. I expect better here now. That and non blown MAC Championship games

This has been brought to my attention. I can say the expectation is still Buffalo. Not sure how'd he get an offer/agree/feel good about it to Cincy in 48 hours. Nothing is unheard of. However, nothing has changed.

The difference? We have thousands and thousands of instant viewers on Twitter. Here, maybe 40 of UB's biggest fans will see it before. I'd call that quite the difference. I'll gladly not post any news I hear if that's what you want.

However, It doesn't behoove me to take the announcement from the player so that's why I only tell the super duper lucky ones on here. I don't have anything on Jones currently, but all the signs are pointing that way based on their offer/interest level/other announcements.

I would say signs are pointing towards a Jones commitment. We will have to see how it turns out
