While I agree the ranking had added pressure and lots of lackadaisical play, I still love it. We need to learn how to keep going while ranked. I don’t want us dropping out, I want us to learn how to deal with all the pressure and become a better program. Glad we are still ranked although it was kinda expected that there would be no movement with all the other games. Lots of interesting games to potentially help us in the rankings this week starting with 3 big ones tonight. Then let’s just take care of business at home. Go bulls

I’d think we’d stay the same. I’m hoping. I’m a little worried but I don’t see anyone hopping over us. We had a pretty big vote lead over everyone beneath us. I fear people won’t understand the magnitude of winning both this past week but I also don’t really think we should move in front of anyone. If only ISU lost to I-state or Iowa lost to Rutgers.. damn that state this week

It was. There was just bleacher seating on the south side. When they changed it to nice seatback seats it lowered capacity. Was actually before I went to school there

Those Perkins 3s were def not ugly-as-sin they looked real pretty to me lol. Besides that idk why there are so down on themselves. Acting like the season is over. You know how difficult it is to beat a team 3 times in a season? I think if we play them in Cleveland again we lose. That’s a good team It says way more about us winning than them losing

I’m a firm believer the track needs to go. There are stadiums where the front row is elevated so you can see over the top of the bench and still be super close to the action. There are other options. I’ve stood in the front row of the true blue sections for tons of games and felt super distant from the game. Just taking the track out won’t fix the problem...we would need to build stands closer in to the field and likely dig down and make a bowl but getting rid of the track would at least be a start. It’s also just an eye sore. Where everything should be blue and white you have a massive red track. Taking out the track you could at least move the south end zone remotely close to the field as opposed to a different area code.

Great article but def scary seeing as he interviewed at those 2 teams last offseason but decided to come back because the team was stacked. With a big drop off in talent next year how likely is it that he stays?

Yea I thought I heard that too...stupid move. Still...ya never know in any conference game and it would be nice. We already did our job this week so it’s nice to sit back and watch the rest

Yea we’ll see what happens tomorrow. Cincinnati auburn and wofford were the first 3 out last week and it doesn’t look like any of those teams did/can do enough to pass over us to get in. Even if Maryland loses at Michigan they shouldn’t drop below us with their win over Purdue. 23 ISU plays at 18 KSU. A loss for Iowa state could potentially bump us ahead of them. With the season Pitt is having I would think if 22 VT loses there tomorrow we might be able to skip them. Youd think even with a loss at Georgia, 19 LSU should be safe with their (controversial) win over 5 Kentucky earlier this week. A 21 Iowa loss at Rutgers could potentially be beneficial for us. 17 Florida state plays at Georgia tech but I doubt a loss there would make them drop low enough for us to benefit. Most likely the same story with 16 louisiville and 15 Texas tech with home games against unranked teams. That would be too drastic of a drop. Still a couple games tomorrow to be watching in addition to BG at NIU

BG plays at NIU tomorrow(today). I’m assuming we are rooting for NIU. I wonder if they could work their way back into a Q2 loss instead of the q3 it is right now but they’ve been on a pretty bad slide lately. It would also put us alone up top of the MAC I think too

The NET rankings don’t include tonight’s win yet though right? Says through 2/14 unless you know of somewhere that updates it more frequently we might be able to bump up tomorrow. Obviously with a huge slate of games Saturday it could change pretty drastically again

Yep. Good teams are able to push through it. It was highly slated against us in the first half. That charge on segu was insane. Tilted our way a little in the second half though but terrible terrible officiating. That foul on caruthers rebounding the ball and falling out of bounds was awful. It would’ve been Toledo ball but no way that’s a foul. There were some bad calls against Toledo in the second half too. Really tough to watch

I don’t really have a problem with it either. A little depressing sometimes but we just haven’t been playing to our potential in a while and I agree with most of what you said. Idk if it was you bust someone posted on here that they were eating their words about perk. Respect. Let’s hope this team can use these 3 home games to get back on track. This was a huge week though. In conference road games back to back you better believe they’re gunna be difficult

Wow what a win. First half was terrible and we were lucky to only be down 3 but what a change in the second half. Perk hitting HUGE 3s. Let’s hope Harris benefits from this 3-game home stand because having him back to full strength is going to blow the doors open for the rest of the conference schedule. Huge q1 win and I didn’t even realize Toledo had a vote in the coaches poll. Gg Toledo they played well. They shoot a little better in the first half and clean up their shot selection in the 2nd and I think we lose. I really hope we don’t see them again..
