I hope I word this correctly to not offend anyone’s 1st amendment sensibilities. Fans need to realize what is typed on a message board is louder then what is yelled inside the arena. It has a forever echo. And the entire world can hear it, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, (ninja turtles know what I’m saying). So if you would be embarrassed to yell it there, despite your blanket of anonymity here, you need to even be more disciplined.

I know BGSU and UB always get thrown together at the end of the season while Miami/Ohio and Akron/Kent do their thing, but I do feel for BG this year. I actually can’t think of a single university in the country I’d rather not be the opponent on senior night this year.

Can’t attend. Not in the area. But anyone who leaves early to beat traffic better have a sick baby at home. Squash that, a sick baby with an incompetent babysitter. When someone gets any word on the Jordan injury situation pls share. Watching, I couldn’t tell if it was more head or neck. Both obviously serious and concussions are no joke. I know he was holding the back of his head, but my immediate concern was the way the impact jolted his neck. Maybe one of those stinger type shots. Was also concerned about Graves’ knee. But him and CJ seem to be made of rubber. 🙏

I don’t think they were overhyped at all. I see 2 of the best freshman UB has ever had. Just getting playing time on this team as freshman means your something special. Brock had a B1G offer, redshirted and still can’t see the floor. Fagan has JUCO experience under his belt, still can’t see the floor. Oats is playing these kids because their good. No not as good as our top 7 yet, sure. But I’m certainly not disappointed, I’m excited. Both will be very good.

Lay off our frosh. Yeah, there’s a learning curve. And by definition that doesn’t happen overnight.

Please match us with a BIG10 team. I think our speed plays.

The MAC deserved 2 bids that year. Had Miami lost in the finals they would of been the snub. The general understanding was that if UB or MU lost in the finals, the team and the league did enough for said loser to make it. I know, leagues don’t earn bids, teams do... blah, blah, blah. No easy games that year. But when almost every media outlet had you down as the biggest at large snub, you just have just been snubbed. And then you deal with it. Maybe I should of scrolled up first, why is this being discussed?

Every conference change I have ever read on this board is either delusional, dumb, far fetched or a combination of all 3. So I want in. the conference with no name UCONN, UB and UMASS joins the BE. All three enter a scheduling agreement for football. Army joins said scheduling agreement for football for a home basketball game every year. We got 4 football games. Temple sees this happen and wants in. We have five games. Now basketball schools can play basketball in a BB forward conference and football independence is not so scary (plus olympics for all parties are now still local ish). And the BE already gets paid better than the American without football anyway. (And their new TV deal minus UCONN and now maybe Temple is now crap). Who knows? Maybe Memphis wants in? We sell our own football rights to the local channels (aka the locals actually get to see the product! Local businesses get to advertise to a population they may actually see), side deals here and there and there is world peace. I feel like I didn’t sell that last part enough.

I disagree. Until the NOT big time power moguls realize that the bread crumbs they have been eating are not a substantial diet, nothing will change. CBS pays a billion dollars for the NCAA tourney. Subtract even the idea of a sister Jean, Butler spanking the big boys two years running, the country having for no good reason to learn who the F Gonzaga is... I can keep going, but what would CBS pay without all that?

Why play a game you might lose? As a fan of a mid major, I too cry foul. But if your in a power conference, why would you give this opportunity to any teams? You can fall back on the argument ‘who did they play? Haha not us! Who did they beat? Double haha, not us!’ I started a thread a while back saying until the NCAA takes over a part the OOC schedule, every non P5 conference will eventually be a 1 bid conference. (Hell, once they get there, it will be a great reason to end auto bids all together.) ...I got shot down pretty quick. Apparently some think UB joining the B1G is more likely then the NCAA taking scheduling control over 5 games! Maybe as the BE slowly turns into a one bid league things may change? Already happening to the A10 and no one seems to mind. much of these conversations are pointless, and just the starving kids at the table punching themselves while the fat kids eat in peace. Maybe UB will make the college football playoffs next year! Technically that can happen! Right? (No it can’t)

Ok. I’m perfectly fine waiting. I guess the real question is how much do you want to pay UAB to come here just so YOU can honor TB, while he is busy doing his job at work. Kinda insulting to TB that he can’t even enjoy his own honoring. Not talking about this anymore.
