Did you notice anything with Fair after the game? Looks like she got injured (I was following the livestats so didn't see it). If Fair is here for 4 years and continues the way that she looks the first....7(!!!) games of her career, she will easily be up there with Jonathan Jones and Khalil Mack as best to wear the blue and white in any sport.

Over the past year or so I've noticed WGRZ more often than not uses the UB press release or the AP News summary for basketball and football games. What's up with that? All of the other local news stations and Buffalo News is usually on site for games. Worth noting that Jenna Harner (WIVB) is exceptional in her coverage of UB football, and both men's and women's basketball. I'm sure the dedicated coverage is in part due to UB athletics partnership with WIVB, but her coverage is top notch. Hope she covers these teams for a while. It's a stark contrast to a certain Buffalo personality that either only covers the Bulls when they are in a big game (and then acts like an expert on the team) or is only there to pile on the criticism when things go wrong. Oh well, that's what you get with a Cuse alum...

What B is saying is that there appears to be no proof that he was ever at Indiana outside of that spectrum article. He doesn’t appear in any year books, any Indiana record books, nothing except that spectrum article. So either he was there, and left no trace, or he lied about attending Indiana when he really attended Buff St. Before I attended UB, I marched in the Ohio State Marching Band but transferred to UB. Unfortunately there’s no record of that anywhere but it surely was an impressive story to tell!

Judging from the numerous awards they’ve won over the last decade, it’s actually pretty good now. I remember a multi page story from 5 years ago about the illegal fraternities and sororities which would be an impressive story for a local news station, let alone a college newspaper with unpaid/minimally paid students. Or maybe you’re asking for a downgrade in journalism, I can’t tell....
