  1. This isn’t ALL on Snyder. Our OLine has to be one of the weakest in the MAC. They have sucked most of the season and Snyder always seems to be under pressure. He’s not great in dealing with it.
  2. Can we please stop running Snyder. No more options. Dude has 12 rushes for 9 yards.
  3. That pass looked like something I would throw in a pickup game.
  4. wth is our offense doing? No first downs in the first 2 drives against the worst defense in the MAC?
  5. Damn, this fanbase is just sooooo cocky. I really hope we shut this guy up:
  6. Good news on the travel. These are the types of games I bet on. I ask myself, "how much would I pay for a UB win?" and I go bet that amount on the opponent. That way I win no matter what!
  7. Any update on this? Is the team stuck doing some god awful traveling today?
  8. The idiots over at Bobcatattack sure are confident about their chances in this one. Check out this bulletin board material: I didn't realize we haven't won in Athens in 15 years so that is a bit shocking. I really hope we don't have a let down game after that chaotic finish a few days ago. Mo better get them focused and make sure they realize what's on the line.
  9. Obviously, I disagreed with giving Whitesell another term with a completely fresh roster after doing nothing with perhaps our best talent ever. But since we're so deeply committed to him I'm really hoping that the team at least shows progress throughout the season. It's hard to stomach yet another year of mediocre results but if it means we can challenge for the MAC title next year then I'm on board. This is Whitesell's biggest opportunity to show his ability to develop young players. Prove me wrong, coach.
  10. Can we talk about the game instead of this old logo or open another thread? Some of us don't care about what they're wearing. Anyone have insight into Toledo? They look very well rounded on offense with a strong passing and rushing attack and they might have the best defense in the conference if you take away that 77pt blowout loss vs Ohio State. I think we've proven we can score points but I am worried it won't be as explosive as the past few games. Maybe put up something like 28 and hope our secondary doesn't get blown apart for more than that.
  11. I was planning on going until my daughter had a soccer game scheduled. Now I'm considering hopping a plane out of Boston to catch the Toledo game, dependent upon a UMASS win of course.
  12. I was really hoping Mo had shut down this ridiculously stupid thread.
  13. Why'd it take him 4 years to produce a winning record at UB?
  14. Does anyone know what percentage of the current student body is from the Buffalo area? And what percentage of our alumni base still live in Buffalo?
  15. Lance lost to Albany and I wanted him shipped back to Wisconsin on a chunk of cheddar that same fvckin' day. After watching him turn us around into a top25 team, I admit I was wrong and have a whole new outlook on the struggles of new coaches. I don't like our results this year, but Mo deserves time to right the ship.
  16. This entire conversation is idiotic. The Bill's success is the reason nobody gives a $hit about anything else in Buffalo right now. We should hope for their demise, not try to ride their wave. I don't know of a single successful college/NFL joint partnership where both draw big crowds and win consistently. And people talking about our students not showing up to games? Are you serious? Go look at the picture on the front of ubbulls.com. It's a few thousand rowdy students and a friggin handful of other folks. Without the students I'm not sure we'd have a crowd at all. Buffalonians need to look in the mirror and realize that the only thing holding back this athletics department is their unrelenting commitment to Buffalo. I get Chubby's point about NYBI not getting other NYers invested but honestly it was a 2+ year idea that faced so much local pressure that it was blown up before it could ever gain legs. The funny part is now a bunch of legislators are apparently trying to get Stony Brook changed to the "University of New York"... If that happens we can only blame Buffalonians for falling behind.
  17. The dude is a straight competitor. I don't love the way he throws the ball but honestly he shouldn't be taking a ton of guff for the lack of wins. That falls on the secondary/LBs.
  18. The city of Buffalo dropped UB like a bad habit once the Bills started winning. The school should go back to focusing on being the State University of New York and stop catering to locals who don't give a $hit.
  19. I don't like that the playcalling has been centered on throws to the outside but it doesn't appear as though Cole can consistently hit receivers downfield. He's a competitor, for sure, but he's been extremely one dimensional so far.
  20. Just a sad state of affairs all around. I think this Holy Cross fan summed up my thoughts pretty well:
  21. Lance has no loyalty. Lance is not afraid of difficult challenges. Lance will take the money if it's offered. I will laugh at Kansas if that happens and hope that he takes half his players with him.
  22. If we lose to Holy Cross I will have Lance Leipold vibes all over again.
  23. So glad we didn’t try to get any momentum and just took a knee at the end of the first half. It really fired up our boys for the second half where we’ve run 16 plays for 9 total yards…
  24. Is Snyder seriously the best we have? He cant throw downfield…
  25. Snyder is Myers2.0. He can run but he doesn’t see the field at all. He just had a wide open tight end and went for the downfield WR instead who was double covered. Nearly threw an INT.
