  1. Good luck to Hawk. Bring on Agee and T. Williams, I'll to take the tough Chicago boys all day.
  2. Noah working the gram https://www.instagram.com/p/BvdA56XH1iZ/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=v2fdx2u7ssqf
  3. https://flightaware.com/live/flight/BSK651/history/20190321/0900Z/KDAY/KTUL Looks like ASU got in at about 3AM CDT. 37 hours before tip, not ideal. Really hope we come out of the gates fast.
  4. "@scottybscout: East St Louis defeats Bogan for 3A State Title 68-63. Rashaun Agee 24 pts 14 reb. Antoine Bloxton 10. Kyndall Davis 7 pts" I still really like this kid. Likely significant untapped potential coming from under-resourced Chicago public schools. I'm surprised he only has offers from us, NIU and a handful of low-majors. The geographic Michigans and others in the MAC would be smart to check in with him.
  5. I could see a couple of our guys on the receiving end of this next year. https://youtu.be/nRWHerpkazg
  6. Hawkins teasing on the gram 😁🤘
  7. I think Coach is here to stay unless one of these teams that could conceivably have an opening comes calling, whether this year or five years from now. These are based on a combination of factors including location, pedigree, and size of market. Anywhere else feels like a lateral move with less job security. ACC: Carolina, Miami, Cuse (hate to say, could make sense for them though), Notre Dame SEC: Mizzou B1G: MSU (hate to say again, but this is my gut for 2020-21 after Izzo retires, which would be awesome for Nate), Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, OSU, Indiana BIG12: Texas, Oklahoma, Baylor Big East: Nothing comes to mind I'm staying positive about the situation, but still if I were an AD at one of these schools, Coach would be the #1 target on my radar. He's got it all, media savvy, intensity, face of the program, young enough to build for decades, experience with kids from tough backgrounds, and maybe the most underappreciated trait, a feel for numbers, patterns, and analytics. This is just for the fun (and therapy) of speculation. I want Coach to stay as much as anyone and thankfully what we post here will have no influence on what comes to be.
  8. Williams and Orr won their third consecutive state title tonight 50-36. He had 10 points.
  9. Hawkins Instagram full of videos from their day trip to Niagara Falls (wearing a UB jacket) flashing horns up, joking about the snow. Seems like they're having a fun weekend. We shouldn't underestimate the pull that Rondo and Jeenathan have, as popular social media star and big time AAU circuit/west coast prep, respectively. They were chopping it up with Hawkins and Williams a bunch after the game. Could lead to some recruiting coups in coming years.
  10. Illinois 2A state title game tonight for Williams' Orr squad. Kid has high potential. He might be a bit redundant with Jeenathan as a wing guard, but could also be a weapon as a "4" in a Warriors style death lineup.
  11. This is gonna be awesome, crowd is guaranteed to be wild. 14.5 point spread, Vegas rightly expecting Oats to keep the pedal to the floor for the full 40. Gotta keep pushing as far away from that 7 seed as possible. CJ will move into 2nd all-time barring something unforeseen. Special times.
  12. It appears that way. Although Noah Williams hasn't jumped off the screen in video to me. Not that you have to be a super athlete in the MAC to succeed. Tujuate Williams just has the bounce and amplitude that screams high-level mid-majora wing defender. Agree that Agee seems a backup to Big Hawk (going with a nickname already). Front court definitely needs some beef next year. Rojas is a 3/stretch 4, while Allen is a floor-running 4.
  13. @JonRothstein Sources: 2019 prospects Raymond Hawkins and Noah Williams will officially visit Buffalo this weekend for Bulls' tilt against Bowling Green. Game is sold out. We knew Hawkins was coming, but this is the first I'm hearing Williams as well. Great news. Although I am still intrigued by Agee who is dominating for Bogan as they advance in the Illinois State tourney.
  14. Interesting. Where are you seeing this?
  15. Williams (Orr) and Agee (Bogan) both won regional games Friday night and don't play again until Tuesday. So maybe he's just paying a visit to keep us in mind. Or it could be other/future kids not on the public radar yet.
