Were a middle of pack Mac team. Just no urgency and no leadership, including Whitesell in that. Bowling green did nothing special in this game, except for own us on the boards. How are we going to win 3 games in the tournament??

They are missing layups. Can’t shoot free throws, and just giving up easy baskets left and right. Whitesell should be furious with some of those garbage foul calls. This is why I don’t like Whitesell, doesn’t have the fire Nate had. He would have not allowed this..

Graves has been such a disappointment. Supposed to be a senior leader, more like a senior turnover. Couldn’t have a worse start.

Yeah that and also our offense not tailored for him to put up big numbers with how much we run the ball. Probably wants to be on team where he can put up big numbers. Wish him the best, quality all the way.

We were the more talented team and lost this one. You might say eh it isn’t the end of the world and I’d agree with you there. But think about what it would be like with recruiting when you got a New York kid who you’d be able to sell hey we beat Syracuse last 2 times we played them. It’s the momentum this program built that we want to build on. I agree with UBigbobby. We have plenty of veterans on this team, we should have won this game and choked it away. Needed to put the gas on when up 8 we let them hang around and lost because of it.

Completely agree. This was a bad loss no way around it. Tired of people on here with patting team on back. We were clearly the better team and lost. I don’t fully blame the team some of the foul calls were atrocious but we gotta games away. The program should be held to higher standard..

Officiating was horrible in this game. We had to be up big to have a chance in this game close game was gonna go to Syracuse. Graves I feel just doesn’t have great basketball IQ in crunch time. He makes a great steal but then turns it right back over in multiple instances which led to easy buckets, secure the ball first before you push it. And that dunk to end the game he had lot of time to make a hesitation and easy bucket, I feel like massingburg would score that bucked every time..

Mballa is back!! He’s really the biggest game changer they have. We probably win those 2 games we lost with him back in full health!!

Unfortunately, After last nights performance on national tv with everyone watching, all of their stock probably fell. Hopefully I’m wrong, but need to perform your best when the lights are shining.

Horrible loss, even after the horrible first half we had so many opportunities in second half to win that game. That Marks drop on 4th and 2 pretty much sums it up for me. Lot of bad play calling. They should have had vantrease run on some of these plays too since they overplaying the running backs. The defense actually had a solid second half the offense just did nothing with it...

That’s for sure. He must step up in this game and maybe hit free throws for a change. Shooting 50% from the line so far this year is embarrassing. This is the game I hope brewton gets hot and carries us with that zone.

Your right he definitely is. But can’t blame people for being upset for LL for taking out Patterson, they wanted to see UB in the record books bigtime and pretty awesome to say we have the most touchdowns and rushing yards in a game ever in history!!

The only person that is clueless is you! Army hasn’t been that good for a while. You cannot in any way spin it to be a positive loss, this is a terrible loss. Just look at the upcoming schedule, these teams were playing coming up would destroy army if they played them, don’t have much of a doubt about that.

This is going to be a rough season. We might not win another game until January. Say what you want but Army is not a good team. No leadership on this team, ugh. Graves needed to step up in this game and he didn’t. Unreal.

First game of the season so hard to be too judgemental. Williams clearly stepped up his game was really impressive and might have taken that next step to be star for this team. We must be better at FT shooting, graves really needs to be better there, he should be shooting over 80%. It’s going to end up costing us one of these close games against better competition. Bench was not impressive, someone needs to step it up there. Anyone know the story with Mballa? Seems like he was out down the stretch of game.
