Ha, same here. I was on Akron +14.5. Seemed like free $$ based on how both teams had been playing. I won’t kill the Bulls performance today. Congrats to them for pulling out a game when things weren’t going their way for large chunks of it. I’m sure the guys are pumped up to make a Bowl game. And who knows? maybe the Bulls show up and beat whoever they play by two TD’s ? or maybe they lose by 35? There’s really no telling with this years teams. During the middle part of the season they looked good!

Bowl Directors across the land with open slots are clamoring for a big UB comeback. I'm sure.

I can only follow online, WTH is going on there? No one should be safe from getting the axe if they lose this game.

Why not take the FG? I can't watch now but getting a very early lead is not a terrible thing. That sounds like a coach trying to flex muscles that the team doesn't have right now.

That is true. UB will have earned it the trip and I will support them if that happens. Let's be real though, I'm sure whatever Bowl they get to will be lukewarm to host a team that lost 3 of it's final 4 games while trying to become Bowl eligible.. (and the win coming against a team ranked around 125 out of 131 FBS programs).

I'm not counting Akron as a guaranteed win unfortunately. The Zips hung close this season in games vs. Bowling Green, CMU, Kent St and EMU...before finally getting a big W at NIU. They've played the same competition close so it's not like they are completely outclassed playing a UB team that is messed up mentally right now. I think Akron comes to Amherst with no pressure and plays loose.

Yep. The Bulls will not be in a good place mentally after this one, and Akron will be so pumped up with nothing to lose.

This is the whole Mo era for me, in a nutshell. Get a little hope, then crushed. Maybe they beat Akron, who knows? but this team does not deserve a Bowl game. Not this year.

Only chance is to force a fumble or INT,, if not i don’t like our chances here.

Not sure how the College football world can function today without this UB/Akron game 😜…but yeah, Beat Kent State and make this a moot point. This team needs the opportunity for 6+ wins and a Bowl. it’s good for recruiting, momentum and the extra practices.

Maybe i’m mistaken, isn’t Howard one of the weakest D-1 hoops teams in the country? ugh. even if not, that’s a horrible loss.

It would be terrible if canceled and there’s no makeup. It would cost UB a possible Bowl bid.

Based on the forecast this game is not looking great to be played on Saturday. It could be, but the main snow band is supposed to hit Thurs-Fri, then another round Sat morning through Sat night. Then Sunday is supposed to be mainly windy and cold but just flurries. The longest lasting area of Lake effect is predicted to be Buffalo and northern Erie County including Amherst, Clarence, etc.. They could get the most.

I've heard of most colleges and Universities, but who the heck is Stonehill? and I see UB won by 6 and the game was tied at half?! Yeesh, it's gonna be a tough year for them.

I was at the Maryland game and he looked pretty good. I recall hearing his name called a few times on tackles and breakups. Then the Bulls started losing a couple more and heard rumors he was still part of the team but not active. So it's not surprising..

That was one of the most inexplicable 4th down decisions I've seen in years. Made no sense. At 24-14 the risk/reward was not worth it. And the play call and execution was laughable... like Pop Warner stuff.

Mike Washington getting injured didn’t help either. May not show up in the stats but once he limped off, the offense was not the same.

Wow, embarrassing, humiliating. Something really went sideways these last couple weeks with the O and D taking turns. Coaching, leadership, etc. it all has to be questioned.

Geez, i had to step away from the TV at halftime and missed the 3rd. what the hell happened?!?! ugh

I have no solid predictions for this game at CMU, but i don't have a great feeling about. UB was exposed last week at Ohio and the D reverted back to looking like last years unit. CMU is pretty good at stopping the run and the Bulls couldn't run at all last week. That has to change. Hope I'm wrong and the Bulls win big.

McDuffie has not carried the ball or had a reception for the past 4 games (incl today). Does anyone know if he’s hurt? or just not being used?

Embarrassing. Felt like it was a 55-10 type of game. Just dominated in every aspect possible.

A ton of gamblers bet the Over in this game and the over hit early in the 4th Qtr. So at least the degenerates in this nation are happy with this game.
