The team’s offensive woes are well on display, but the lack of intensity on D and lack of energy on the bench are a tough pill to swallow. That coupled with the coach that shows little emotion of the sideline while the team consistently gets blown out paints a really bad picture.

What a shit ending to the half. Just bad basketball all the way around though.

The amount of frustration on this board is nuts. I don’t think anyone on UBfan is more frustrated than me. As fellow Bulls fans, I love all on this board (almost all)….there were never enough Bulls fans around to begin with and because of the current state of affairs, I fear there will be even less.

I just stated FACTS about what I know. The KenPom and recruiting rankings are what they are. Hodgson is very much trending upwards and GHIII not so much. For those who claimed to have detailed knowledge of what Hodgson did or didn’t do when leaving for Bama….good for you. People make mistakes….get over it. He’s is still a relatively young man and if what some of you stated he did is true, I’d imagine he’d want a mulligan. I ran into Hodgson at the airport b4 the hire and Hodgson told me that he was very interested in coming back to UB. This is a relationship business and the fact that ADMA severed the relationship with the Oats years is poor judgement IMO. The FACT is that we cut ties to the greatest era in Bulls basketball history for GHIII and that decision appears to be an absolute joke.

Currently has Arkansas State at 162 in KenPom as compared to 349 for GHIII and the Bulls. Bulls finished last year at 211 while Arkansas State finished at 287. Hodgson is a local kid from Jamestown who is a die hard Bills fan. His story of rising through adversity of the foster care system is amazing.

I recall an interview after Oats was hired where Oats talked about Danny White telling him he needed a veteran coach like JW. Does anyone remember that? Danny White was tremendous and ADMA, well, I’m not going to continue to hit a man when he is down.

Don’t forget about the lack of athleticism. Outside of Chatman and Fulcher, we are cooked.

GHIII is not a good basketball coach. This stat tells you all you need to know. He is in WAY over his head. Anyone want to debate, I’m up for it.

“Nothing easy in the MAC…..” Are these announcers clueless? The MAC is a joke right now.

Honest question….could you imagine any guard or wing from Oats teams going up against Lloyd McVeigh or for that matter Ryan Sabol?? The athleticism and toughness from the Oats teams compared to these guys is like men vs boys.

What an analogy.

I contacted my representatives in the NYS Senate and Assembly today regarding the Athletic Department at UB. I specifically referenced the horrendous record of ADMA and his incompetence. Athletics continues to receive more institutional support compared to all MAC teams and the results in ADMA’s tenure have been downward trending in all major sports including football along and men’s and women’s basketball.

I don’t see much of anything from the team and coaching staff that gives me much hope for the future. I’d love to see some intensity on D, some IQ on offense….good ball movement, good shot selection, anything and I’m left with the same frustration every time. GHIII looks completely overwhelmed. Help me out! What am failing to recognize?

McVeigh just stands at the elbow or corner on consecutive possessions. Doesn’t move…..he can’t shoot and he gets a pass at the elbow and proceeds to immediately turn it over.

I’d be thrilled if they combined for 20.

So if we can bring in better talent, you have faith in this staff to get it done?
