There’s times where a regression of record can be accepted, just some close loses that could’ve swung the other way, just look at the Vikings. It’s the quality of play that’s telling, just dull and boring. Even in close games they don’t deserve to win. Team doesn’t stand a chance unless something changes.

Got a tricky rematch with bowling green. Not sure if I would’ve rather had them or ball state win. Either way I hope they’re tired.

I’ll be honest I was hoping for more from Watson. She finished pretty strong but until late she was shooting like 30%, and she had a lot of trouble close to the rim. She could’ve been looking at a 30 point game, hoping for more teeth next game, she could be unstoppable.

The glass isn’t half anything. It’s shattered on the ground with the entirety of it spilled into the sewer.

I want to see them start strong and keep it comfortable. Daemen, Canisius, Niagara, all 3 of those games were nervy with the team losing or close to losing at half time or the third quarter. Get out of the gate and don’t look back tonight.

Say what you want. I liked what I saw. They played a good style of ball. Nothing too flashy, they just moved the ball well and shot it. They’re still ironing out the kinks, they’ve got work to do, but for where they’re at with a new coach, they look good. And on top of that they look energized to be there, under Whitesell the players always looked depressed, but they actually seem invested now. Bummer result, but it was the first game against a team that’s better than their ranking. Think we’ve got a good future to our program.

The way I see it, this game is a good thing for UB. May have good turnout because people recognize FDU from beating Purdue, while also having a good shot to win because that was likely a one time thing. That coupled with a canisius game should make today fun
