UB85
Jim Boeheim driving home last night struck and killed a pedestrian on I 690. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/report-syracuses-jim-boeheim-strikes-kills-pedestrian-highway-143543107.html I know we all take our UB sports seriously, but this is a tragic reminder of things far more important than a game. I cannot imagine the grief being felt by the deceased’s family and friends as well as the Boeheim family. Let’s be thankful for what we all have as well as what UB92 wrote in a different thread our coaches, athletes and most of all our family and friends. DooleyBull06
Tragic accident. Hopefully it was just that, an accident. Reports say Jim was not drunk, high or speeding. There was bad weather so that may have contributed. https://www.news10.com/news/national/su-coach-jim-boeheim-hits-kills-pedestrian-on-i-690/1798883506
ubmae86
This is of course a horrible thing to have some, especially if it was by accident. I hope Jim is okay, but I also all so sad for the family of Mr Jimenez. I hope that this was purely an accident.
weareub46
Really sad. From what it sounds like, Mr. Jimenez got into an accident and then got out of his car on the highway afterwards which is extremely dangerous for this reason. Def sounds accidental.
