NC_UBfan
Have not seen any news about the availability of Watson since the Akron game hope she is fully recovered. As a team they play way better at home than on the road.
BrooklynBull
In a video yesterday she was throwing brick according to the coach. You could hear the shots clanging off the rim. She seemed to be moving ok in the background.
NC_UBfan
Way too many turnovers, missed layups and defensive lapses. Watson looks healthy shots just not dropping. KLW is having another good game. Burke has made good half time adjustments all year expect the same tonight
NC_UBfan
Disappointing loss the defense picked up pretty much the second quarter forward. The lack of offensive production from Watson 7-26 26% and Rana 2-8 25% was the game. So many times the ball was in the cylinder but just rimmed out just one of those shootings nights. The opposite can be said for two freshmen Davis 4-7 57% another double double 11pts 12reb and Lewis-Williams 7-13 53% 14pts. Just have to be better offensively. Bluebird96
Disappointing loss as the Bulls allow NIU (just 2-8 in away games coming into tonight) to climb within 1 game of them in the standings. Really only 1 gimme over the remaining 5 games - home vs CMU (3-10, 11th in the MAC) in a couple weeks. The way UB has played these last 2 games I wouldn’t take any team for granted. Saturday’s game vs Ohio is big as the Bobcats sit just 2 games back of the Bulls currently in 8th place as UB clings to the 4. Need Watson to get out of her recent shooting funk, just 33/102 (32.3%) over the last 5 games and 4/37 (10.8%) from 3 over the last 6. As she goes, so go the Bulls. UBinMD
These last two games have been very disheartening. Feels like the Fair days, if she was off, we were sunk. There was no plan B. NIU was fine with Watson jacking 26 shots. KLW is doing what she can, but we need 3-4 options and it’s just not there. Sloppy turnovers, continued poor FT shooting. These things should have been cleaned up weeks ago. They continue to bit us in the ass. The number of travels alone for this level of play was mind boggling. We are just too streaky at this point.
Bluebird96
Good to see Ogden picking it up a bit lately with her 3P shooting, 14/40 (35%) over the past 6 games including 3/9 last night. Still just a sophomore, but would be nice to see her take advantage of her size a little more around the rim than just hang out on the perimeter. Hopefully we see more of that develop next season and she can take it to the next level with 10-12 ppg and 6+ rpg. She could be key to how these last 5 games go and heading into the tournament. Need a strong finish! 🤘
