Despite being 1-3 there are definitely some things I like about this team. I have no idea what they'll look like come MAC schedule but seems like it could be a fun group to see grow. It's tough being in a down/"rebuild" and not being a top pick in the MAC for the first time since Hurley took over, but is what it is.

A borderline D-2 team, we were predicted to be a middle of the pack Mac team but looking like the worst team right now..

Bulls game plan.

Having watched the video of the shoveling crew, I’m really quite shocked how much field we uncovered in like 45 minutes.

Field house is too small to play a real game. Not enough room on sidelines or at the end of the end zones. If fine for practice, but not a game.

From the more post quoted above: I guess the game will be played if we need a win to become bowl eligible. If Ohio and UB win next week the game will not be played.

We can still be optimistic. Some folks are simply so negative. We are an entirely new team. What other team has had such a level of turnover? We have a respective head coach. Yes, there is room for improvement Maybe Hardnett really turns into a consistent player. Boy was he great today. Maybe Jack continues to improve and cause us to remember the best of Mballa and Skogman. So many new players, many with potential We will be ready for MAC play I will be optimistic Enjoy the journey and go to games. go BULLS

A few years back we picked up a kid that I thought was one of the best ball handlers I had ever seen in the Blue and White however he couldn't finish at the rim. He played his ass off, super tough defense, and then he'd dribble through 3 guys and miss the damn layup. He just couldn't buy baskets. That player was Davonte Jordan. This current UB squad looks like its made up of a roster of Davonte Jordans. They play hard, force turnovers, and all seem to know how to slash to the rim. They just don't know how to finish. If we don't have any deadly outside shooters then we better figure out how to make shots in the paint. Davonte showed that it can be done since he got better every year at finishing shots. Hopefully Whitesell finds a way to develop this squad as well.
