Knowing this coaching staff I hope both Segu and Williams are put on a program to change their physical and mental makeup. Neither one had to play a shred of defense in high school and it shows big time. Just hope both can improve. What is scary is not all kids no matter how good they were in high school can make the transition to college D-1 ball. Reese and O’Field are two and of course there are many more. Both Reese and O’Field ended up playing JUCO ball. Again it is nothing personal against any of these kids. Some make it and some do not. Go Bulls!!!

Do agree he was one tough player and some great memories especially that shot at the buzzer. Looking forward to the tribute for a great player. Go Bulls!!!!!

Jordan is another player who has been up and down since the middle of the year. He started out promising as far as his 3 point shooting but his 3 point shots the last few games have looked ugly and his free throw shooting is still around 29%. On the plus side he has cut down on his turnovers and he has to continue his assist numbers on the kupswing. Also he has had some nice drives to the basket. His point production is just a plus for us and continue to run the point with minimal turnovers. Go Bulls!!!!!

Right on the money. We can feel the anticipation in the crowd when Harris shoots. As long as he continues helping in other aspects of his game all should be good. Still hope he can find his touch and hit some 3’s. He is such a polite and respectful kid and as long as he continues to work hard we will be in good shape. Go Bulls!!!!!

Do agree although I think the attendance this year has been a little better than the last few years. But still do not understand why more fans do not come out and see this very competitive team with especially Dillard and Hemphill to name two. Especially the student attendance is still very poor for the quality teams we have had. But I know the women’s attendance can not be even close to the men’s. Case in point is this year’s Ohio team that has had a great season so far and I looked at their attendance the last few games. It has been below the 1,000 mark????Even CMU women do not draw very well and they have had very good teams and even better quality players. It would be great to see 2- 3 thousand at Sat game or more. Go Bulls!!!!!!

Have you heard when the festivities for senior night are? With the 6PM game I think it might be after the game like last year. The only problem with that is a lot of fans left and did not stay . The senior night for the women I think is the Sat game this week. I would think it is before the game. Has anyone heard the times for the festivities???With Dillard and all our Endor men I would think many fans would want to see that??? Go Bulls!!!!

As a conference we really have made great strides and it is an accomplishment to be proud of. Where are we rated conference wise??? Go Bulls!!!!

Research and analytics are great for us fans. I am not saying he should be out of the lineup but it points to his personal stats and his struggles compared to last year. The rotation that Nate has used is not going to change because of our overall success and I am not saying he should be replaced. There are so many others of his game that has helped us be successful. We really do not have a replacement for Harris and/or Nate does not have enough confidence in other players. Williams is no where near ready to play significant minutes and he looks no where near what a 4 star recruit looks like. The big key for him is how he will improve over the summer because what he did at the high school level has not equated to the college level. Still have faith that he will develop. Go Bulls!!!!!

What is great is we have something like 12 games on the national networks this year!!!! What a great testament of the last few years of success. It has to mean extra money for the team and the conference.although not sure how all the money is divided. Go Bulls!!!!!!

Projections are great for us fans but you are only as good as your next game meaning if you lose the polls change on a game to game basis. There will have to be some upsets of the top three teams and UB will have to win in order for UB to be considered. In some respects they have been projected in polls based on the last couple years success and I am happy about that. But at the end of the season it is all about your record and resume so in a nutshell they just have to win their remaining games and let the chip fall where they may be. Go Bulls!!!!!

I think UB has to take care of business in the MAC. They can not slip against either Miami or Ohio although their overall record is not good are still teams with some good players who if get hot can cause problems. Go Bulls!!!!

I would think they would have to win the rest of their games and go to the MAC finals again to get an at large. Just take it one game at a time and hope to see a big crowd on Sat. Go Bulls!!

With Miami beating BG they will come in with some confidence. Again we need to play 40 minutes of basketball especially on the defensive end. Go Bulls!!!!!

Congrats to the entire team. A great bounce back game against a very good Ohio team. What a turnaround game from the last three games. Dillard has been a tremendous player for us and her no look passes are a sight to behold. Hemphill had another double double with 18 rebounds.She has to play with that kind of intensity every game. Hope we get a good crowd for the Sat afternoon game against a very good Miami/Ohio team. Only two more games to see Dillard in person at home. Go Bulls!!!!!

Like I said he really is second guessing himself now and hesitating just a second or two enables the defense to close. Up to this point I agree it has not hurt the overall team because of other players contributing. Still hope he can find his shot but it does not make sense for him to start putting 3’s up at great numbers. He still needs to pick and choose when to take the 3’s. He has been such a good player for us it really is hard to see him struggling. Go Bulls!!!!!

His rebounding numbers are down the last couple games and even the number of shots he puts up are down compared to the earlier games. He still is one of the more intelligent players we have and he knows how his shooting percentages have dropped and still tries to make up for it in other ways on the court. It is still a team game and in most cases the team game wins out. Go Bulls!!!!!

Do agree and that is a right on point. We have noticed that also especially last night on many of his drives there was big time contact with no fouls and you wonder why. Because he is a smaller gut going in the paint with the big guys. I think that was one of the reasons Nate and staff were on the officialsin the first half with no fouls being called. In the 2nd half the foul calls changed in our favor big time. I think that is what the Akron coach was so upset about toward the end of the game. Another great and exciting win. On another note we had a change to talk to Jamie Quayle’s after the game and we congratulated him on a good job. Hope more fans can meet these coaches and express their gratitude for the jobs they are doing. Go Bulls!!!!

Another great recap of game. On Caruthers, the last two games he has played a little out of control especially on driving to the basket. You have to pick and choose when driving. Whe he makes his mind up to drive it does not matter if it is two or three players or some big guys down low he just goes and he has been unsuccessful the last two games. no way am I criticizing his effort or overall play but I think he just has to rein it in at times. Do agree the last two games we had great defensive intensity especaially in the 2nd half which turned the game in our favor as both Kent ST and Akron are very quick and athletic teams. Go Bulls!!!!!

Going to any sporting event you have to expect loud and vocal fans and you can not expect fans to be quiet or not say something. Our family yell at the top of our lungs and stand up many times. We will never stop being passionate supporters of our team. This is the best of times. Go Bulls!!!!

Agree. We all love Harris as we have talked to him a couple times and he is a great kid. his shooting woes have started to affect the rest of his game namely his defense and rebounding. You can just see it in his body language. He just has to keep his head up and have the team first attitude. Still have faith he can turn it around. Go Bulls!!!!

Do agree. You can see it in his body language and it has gotten worse as each game goes by. He is now hesitant even taking the 3’s or driving which allows the defense more time to guard him. He was even a little sloppy with the ball and now even his rebounding is suffering. Nate even subbed for him late in the game instead of having him on the floor. I have heard he is still in the gym shooting 3’s but now it is such a mental thing that unless he hits a three right at the start of a game it affects how he shoots the rest of the game. It is good to be in the gym but unless it translates to the actual game I am not sure all the shooting helps. A good case in point is both Segu and Williams I am told are in the gym shooting but it has not translated to the game. Williams is like 4-44 from 3’s for 9%. That being said the whole year has brought highlight after highlight with more to come. Go Bulls!!!!

Going to buy mine today and maybe I’ll buy a couple hundred copies and sell/give them away at the game!!!! Just joking I think or am I just dreaming!!!! Go Bulls!!!!!

Another nice article on CJ with interviews with Nate and Was Clark. Just shows what can happen if your path results in going to a college and finding the right mix and chemistry. CJ having the athletic ability and having the right mental makeup can make all the difference. Thinking back on kids paths and how it changes with two kids. James Reese who never seemed to be comfortable here but is playing for Odessa Community Collete in Texas and is averaging 17 a game and how about Maurice O’Field who left with Bobby Hurley at Arizona State. He never had any impact there at all and not sure what all his problems were. He ended up leaving and playing at Nichols State. Just never know how it is going to turn out for these kids. Go Bulls!!! Need to stay focused and play 40 minutes of defense. Akron I am sure will come out with defense intensity. Need to have our good ball movement and get everyone involved. Hope for another sellout and loud, boisterous crowd. Go Bulls!!!!

It is like that all over the sports landscape. Again there are fans that put more importance on getting out of the parking lot. Look what has happened at Sabres games for years. Of course they have been terrible for years. But no matter what the score fans leave early. Again different strokes for different folks. Just enjoying the entire atmosphere at our games and soaking it all in. Go Bulls!!!!
