For those who want UB to schedule higher quality opponents, keep winning and it will happen. Big programs are willing to risk losing to good/great teams. They are unwilling to risk losing to an average mid major. If 3 years from now we continue to dominate the MAC, I guarantee the team starts to pull in deals with higher quality opponents.

Last year the late first four game was Syracuse beating ASU. Syracuse then played at 10pm Friday. Hopefully that’s the case again this year

I mean, Auburn just crushed Tennessee to win the SEC tournament and they got a 5 seed. We might be a tad off (I think we should be ahead of Mississippi st) but it’s not a shaft or anything

I’m sure the alumni base is more engaged now than ever before. it wouldn’t surprise me at all if the school has received some calls from wealthy donors offering money to help keep Nate around

This was my thought as well. Hopefully he enjoys it here enough to not be swayed by other offers, because power 5 teams won’t even blink at that buyout.

Maybe with the understanding that the school can fast track a new facility

What’s a “dream job” though? Is it Wisconsin? Is it one of 20 different P5 schools? 50? I’m trying to be optimistic but I was sure Hurley would stay and we botched that so there’s some nervousness here.

Maybe you missed where Furman went into Villanova and won. I’d argue that’s at least on par with our victory at Syracuse. Wofford went to South Carolina and won by 20. Not sure why you’re trying to tear down the only other feel good mid-major story of the year besides us.

Wofford still has their conference tournament in front of them, which has better teams this year than we do in the MAC. If they roll through that they’ll deserve a good seed

Does anyone know what time the 1 seed plays on Thursday now that UB has it locked up? I’m assuming it would be the late game but I can’t find any information on it. edit: I see that last year we played at noon as the 1 seed

I guess people will complain about anything. The team is 27-3 and packed with seniors, and we’re whining that our 2 freshmen aren’t performing at the same level? Lol ok

UCF is a good team, I was just thinking I hope we don’t get matched up with them. Houston also only has 2 loses still.
