HAS TO GO. It's utterly insane to think how much we've regressed since the days of Nate and Bobby.

This is for another topic maybe, but the attendance issue will stay where it is unless we are putting a winning product together (like with Oats) or moving to a bigger conference. My mid 90s days (go Sixth Man Club) have many memories of basically empty arena, unless we were playing VALPO. Things really didn't improve until we jumped to the MAC. And heck, back in the 90s the only time you'd see a packed gym was during graduation or Midnight Madness. I don't see this season doing anything to help with attendance. Sidenote, I'd love to know the average attendance at UB basketball games when we were in the Mid Con compared to the MAC.

See what winning does? There's a buzz talking about going to games again. Just a simple observation. I have a feeling next season there will be a TON of buzz.

Surprised there wasn't a mention on this....BUT, Cole Snyder was the reason we won that game on Saturday. His 4th down runs and his decision making was top notch. We found ourselves a QB fellas.

I wouldn't be surprised if 3 or 4 of the MAC schools cover. Those lines are a bit excessive.

I have zero faith on Saturday. It will probably be a close game, but 0 - 3 is in the future. Hate to say it.

I don't know. I may have to agree with Buffalo Super Fan. We may find ourselves missing Leipold.

I'll be the first to state it....if we don't roll through Holy Cross or even suffer a loss, I will have Jeff Quinn or Jim Hofher vibes all over again.

It has been eerily quiet compared to previous seasons. Not a knock on Bull Run or the main site, but I feel like there was a ton of hype during the LL days with some of our teams.

I kinda think that Lance left because he was sick of the treatment or lack of respect from the Buffalo area. Some of his TV interviews were rather salty or defensive. I believe he was just waiting for the next ship out of the harbor.

Right there with ya. Although, maybe it's because we want to be under the radar? Or maybe because we're more business-like these days? When we played Ohio State or Penn State, it was a ton of "oooohs and ahhhhhhhs", but now I feel like it might be time to play with the big boys...

Side note: I'd like to thank Tee4Three for bringing up the UB ESPN forum. Like him, I feel like I was here since the beginning and before UB Fan Forums were a thing. I don't think we get any points for being around way before UB was on the national stage, but hey it's cool to feel old along with someone. Go UB!

It's not a complaint one bit. According to your logic, Baylor Bears fans are probably looking forward to see Carlton Dotson represent their TBT. See?

You're fooling yourself if you think there isn't a tinge of UB representation.

Moss was kicked off the team and thrown out of school. Bearden was not "satisfied" with staying at UB and in essence quit. If this tournament lumps the players in as "the team representing UB" then it's wrong.
