The MAC has no say. All of the conference v. conference events are made for TV and promoted by ESPN. What conference could the MAC play that would get people to watch in large numbers?

Was at the game in Nebraska. At one time there was a track in Memorial Stadium. Although it is no longer there,from the field it is still obvious that there once was a track. The stands in both end zones were built over where the track was. For the stands on the sides, if you see where they curve in on the far side of the field that has been evened off with the ends of the stands. There is still a gap from the stands to the field and bench areas. It is wide enough that the sideline camera was able to drive back and forth with ease. As for the upper decks in the stands it is very similar to the Citrus Bowl in Orlando and Neyland Stadium in Tennessee. Looking at the stadium from field level you can see the original stadium set up.The second and third decks as well as the press box were built on top of what is seen in the photo above. It does not appear that the field was lowered at anytime, not changing the sight lines.

The BYU game last year is almost worthless to look at. That game was "scheduled" while the BYU equipment truck was on its way some place else. I think it was scheduled late on Wednesday night and played Saturday. Neither team had time to really prepare for the other.

It will probably be on Peacock. Despite that it may also end up on NBCSN, which will still exist then. Prior to the Tour de France, it appear that the only way to watch the entire race would be behind a paywall on Peacock. However, once it started every stage was available live on NBCSN.

The track is not usable for track meets, because the officials lose sight of the runners when they go under the stands. Same issue for Nevada.

Would not doubt that scheduling, if both schools make it, at all. In 2019 Danny Hurley called Nate Oats on Selection Sunday morning and told him that UB would be set up to play Arizona State. Danny was correct. Story in John Feinstein's Back Roads to March.

Not easy to find a line because it is FBS v. FCS. The one line I was able to find was Fordham +42.5. IF Nebraska does not blow them out, it will be a long season for them and hopefully made longer the following week. Also Nebraska's 375 game sellout streak at home is in trouble.

Will need a VPN into the United States. ESPN3 does not work outside of the US. I could not watch the Black Friday game when men's hoops were in the Cayman Islands and had to use a VPN for the MAC Championship games in Belfast to watch it.

Hopefully CBS and ESPN do not ruin it, but there is a rare doubleheader on 1-8-22.

Got the date of the MAC website. They still have last year's info up. It is up against the Boca Bowl and the Lending Tree Bowl, which both have MC tie ins.

If they are looking for attendance, it could be an issue. This is the same day as the MAC Championship game in Detroit.
