As for getting behind the University of New York, there would be issue with that name because of New York University, a school that has not been followed, despite the name, since before it dropped to Division III after getting over the gambling scandals.

I do not believe that any school can really capture the New York City market. The reason is no one cares about college sports in the city. The only people who would care about UB in the Big 10 or other power 5 conference will be UB alumni and possibly natives of Buffalo who have moved to New York City.

Temple agreed to play multiple MAC schools in basketball (possibly other sports as well) as part of their football participation. UMass had four years as football only. It was either move everything or leave. They left.

The problem is that the ball was released in time because they put 0.2 seconds back on the clock. He was fouled in the air, so he was taking the shot. It should have been a good basket and one shot. However, if they say he was fouled before the shot it should have been 1 and 1 since it was on the 9th foul of the half for Kent State, the double bonus goes into effect with the 10th foul of the half.

When streaming ESPN3 the stream is constant without any freezes in the stream. An ESPN+ game the stream will freeze for a few seconds and the pick up right where it was. As a result for the NIU I got to the point where I was about 4 minutes behind what was actually happening, when i started off live. I had to end the stream and go back on to get to the live action. This occurs in multiple locations so WiFi is not the issue. Anyone else have this issue?

I don't think that's accurate. Seems like what is wanted is a dedicated facility that can be used at all times by the players. I don't think that's too unreasonable. That is absolutely true. That is why instead of renovating hte old training facility in the stadium to be a locker room/ lounge for the coaches it was turned into a fueling station lounge for the players. Danny White said that when you are recruiting and you have prospective student athlete on campus you have one opportunity to wow them. So the facilities they see can be key to a decision, as well as uniform combinations now. When White made his comment to me I did not really believe that what he was said was true. However, thinking back to when I looked at UB as a senior in high school I was sold on the concept of Ellicott, dorms, class rooms and eating facilities all in a self contained building(s). Fortunately, when I was assigned a dorm it was Goodyear Hall, which has a much better living design than either Ellicott or Governors. So yes, bells and whistles sell.

I have not weighed in on way or the other on the issue. I agree that the movement going on is becoming ridiculous. My point was that if Mcbulls wanted "compensation" to be paid by Miami to UB for Osborn to be mandated by the NCAA. It would have to work the other way as well when UB gets a graduate transfer from another school.
