  1. Exactly this. I’m sure the fan base is not happy but with limited internet access in Olean it’s hard to know for sure. He made the tournament on 18 and 21 which keeps him out of the hot seat but this year certainly won’t earn him any bonuses.
  2. luckily it's a multi bid league so... jk they're out.
  3. This is more of what I am referring to. I don't care if the player that fills this role scores 4 or 30 PPG.
  4. I'll let @Kevin or @DooleyBull06 or somebody else post an assumptive depth chart, I'm too lazy. My question: Who leads this team? IMO that question was not answered any of the past 3 seasons. We know we'll field a complete roster, with varying opinions on the talent level. Who leads the team on the floor and in the locker room?
  5. ~7min remain Fair with 28pt 5reb and 5ast. MAC POTY with 15pt 4reb and 1ast
  6. IMO every AD has (or should have) a list on hand unless they know they are solid I don't think this has been true for Alnutt and I think it's a large part of what has us in our current position.
  7. And why should our aspirations be to try and stay level with some MAC coaches? Was Oats a gem of a hire? Of course. But should every hire after that just be "well at least he's not awful"? If the coach isn't showing signs of moving this program in a positive direction, try somebody else.
  8. 3 years of "too much iso, no identity, lack of leadership". These are criticisms that we've heard from even the most ardent supporters. I admit that I'm far too negative during some in-game threads or perhaps even early in seasons but I'm sick of seeing/saying the same thing. Under this coach, I will admit that much of the fun in being a fan has subsided. It sucks.
  9. So it's not the coach, it's the players. But it's not the players, they're just players. Also the lack of bench production is not on the staff. That leaves the state of the program up to no-one. On top of this, the fact that we're second fiddle to Akron, Ohio, Toledo, and Kent while losing to awful opponents each year (sometimes at home) should not be an issue because we're winning over 15 games a year despite UB's resources and perceived national profile and recent success. Am I getting all of this right? Nobody is saying JW is the worst coach ever. But he's not good enough. I've followed this program as what I would consider a diehard since 2004 and think we can and should expect more than, at best, a horizontal trajectory.
  10. Is 19 wins with this roster when it ends on a 3 game losing streak "good enough" for anybody here? Honestly asking.
  11. Nobody wanted this. Please find my unwarranted criticisms I'll own each one.
  12. Came back to lead Cleveland, just like I called it!
  13. I'll eat crow if I'm wrong. I just haven't seen a single thing from this team to make me think a comeback in Cleveland is happening.
