I’m no expert in analyzing coaches or prospects, nothing like that, but I really like the way coach handles this team. I know they’ve had troubles in the beginning with being tough, but she’s always been consistent and honest about her expectations. She expects everything out of her players and in return she gives everything from herself. Love the social media presence and the winning mindset. Definitely building a culture and identity, something men’s basketball has lacked

With the new NIL program set up, allowing for stronger recruiting, how do we evaluate our coaches now? Do they get a grace year until they can actually use the collective properly? If GH3 has another disaster year does ADMA give him another year to apply this?

Anyone want to venture on to the conspiracy side and think they want to get rid of wrestling altogether? Either to save money or replace it with another sport, bringing baseball or men’s soccer back?

All she had to do was mention Buffalo once during her interview, and that alone could have ramped up recruiting for future years

Very exciting. A team praised for its talent in the top of the MAC recruiting classes now has a good coach having them play energetic ball with fun? That’s scary for other teams.

Pretty sad, you do great things at a mid major and nobody seems to care, do the same thing in the ACC and you’re ranked. Same team, same coach, same results, way different publicity.

Think adding more private schools would help? Would improve the academic reputation, and could serve as a bridge to improving athletic reputation. I don’t know how many of those big private schools are looking for a conference, but if a school like RIT went D1 in sports it would be an exciting change. Their Corner Crew student section is incredible at hockey. Just thinking a school like that has a lot of pride, donor commitment, and would be a reputation builder for the MAC

Tough game but proud of this team, worked through a huge adjustment period and came out strong. Rather see Kent win it than Toledo or Ball, so there’s that too

Definitely. And let’s all agree that whatever happens tomorrow, win or lose, that we’re proud of this season and this group. Friendly reminder the MAC picked us to miss the tournament as 8th in the conference. Toledo was 10-2 favorites to win the tournament

But at the same time I almost want ball state, yes they battered us but we had nothing to play for and looked bored and learned how they play. However I have to say Kent because we saw how poorly UB handled the full court press from Toledo late. Ball does that all game
