This is getting ridiculous. We cannot expect to win by 30 against D-1 opponents, and if we win by less, be disheartened. This is a younger team, and we will be more like the 2016-2017 Bulls than the 2018-2019 Bulls. Let’s be realistic.

Do not like what I have seen from Hardnett so far. Would like to see a bit more intensity and focus on both ends of the floor.

UConn is good. We look nearly as good so far. If we hit some of those layups we'd be up by 4 or 6 right now. Gotta keep up the tempo in the second half. UConn much bigger and may wear out.

Thinking back to when UB players used to miss breakaway dunks. We would’ve killed for this team, let alone last year’s team!

Mballa is really good, and could be an all-time Bull, given his potential and size. I agree: without Mballa, we'd be screwed down low. It would be nice to have Bertram back for a few minutes and for some rim protection. But Mballa is the best option on Offense down low, for sure.

Probably a few, but I wouldn’t imagine there will be tons. Not a marquee matchup. If we beat Harvard, I’ll be very surprised. Injuries or not, this is a senior-laden class and they got a good coach. if we are going to win, we will need a big game from an unlikely player—in addition to Jordan, Graves, and Segu playing lights out. We miss Perkins most of all, even though CJ was the better player by a bit. We just don’t have a reliable, get a bucket down low guy yet. Hopefully one emerges this year. Next year we should have players who will have bulked up and can play against big D-1 guys in the post

Smart was way more mobile, but didn’t play much ball before college—in case we somehow forget this fact we heard every single game. 🙂

The new site for UB sports seems crappier than the previous site, which is unfortunate. Does anyone know if this will impact streams for pre-season games/games not on ESPN?

Texas Tech Michigan Not an easy bracket. And the location is brutal. Better for everyone in the bracket that isn't Buffalo. I'm pissed with this, tbh. I feel there is so little respect for a team like UB, and it's what will cost us Oats this year or next. He sees the lack of resources and the lack of national respect more than we do.
