Looks like the Lending Tree Bowl. I hope we can do better than a game that early, but Troy would be a solid opponent in most years.

We need to make that transition from underdog (see Ball State victory for the MAC Championship) to favorite and be able to play well when you are supposed to and overcome the underdog on the other side. It's hard to do because it's a new philosophy due to our history. Hopefully Coach Mo comes in to instill that and they grab the reigns and keep getting better. Any of the Florida bowls would be great.

I think much of that was conservative coaching. (Good luck, Kansas.) Let's hope Coach Linguist has a bit more faith in his players.

Did the special teams guys just hang out in the corner and then got 15 minutes of attention from someone at the end of practice? From what I heard, in a way…yes. He didn’t do much in terms of making plays and schemes for the special teams guys to run, basically said “go out and do your best”

Then they had to do what they could on the sideline for most of practice with a couple of special teams periods mixed in to practice. promotherobot
Athlon not feeling the Bulls. Predicting 3rd in the East. https://athlonsports.com/college-football/mac-football-2021-predictions Athlon predicts no bowl for UB. Though oddly enough, their predicted 4th place finisher in the East, Kent State, goes but not 3rd place Buffalo. 🙄 https://athlonsports.com/college-football/bowl-projections-2021 Athlon's 130 ranking puts UB at #94. (Still higher than Kansas.) Really docking us for losing Lance etc https://athlonsports.com/college-football/college-football-top-130-team-rankings-2021 Edited July 13, 2021 by promotherobot

UB92
A stupid, yet related, article. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/picking-the-best-college-football-team-in-each-state-entering-the-2021-season/ Laughable wrong.
ChicagoBull
Dumb list. No way are that many MAC teams at the bottom of the list. Anybody else notice that he essentially switched Iowa and Iowa State from what the coaches voted last week.
