Broken record need 3rd/4th scoring options to off set what Watson and Lewis-Williams will make. Hopefully playing at home helps the shooting confidence. Need the same level of intensity on the defensive end and rebounding they had against Ball St. Bass and Riley crash the boards hard and draws lots of fouls so our front court needs to box out and guards crash weak side. It’s been proven we can compete with the top teams so every game is winnable.
Per the Scoop we are hiring Norfolk St OC as our RB coach. Roots in TX and LA football.

Things I like: I do believe the base for a really successful team is here they need time and to be surrounded by more guys that will grow (fulcher is finding his stride, boldin has potential and sabol if he continues to improve will be very good)
Things I don't like: I'm scared what this team will look like without chatman or any go to player next season
These guys are playing their hearts out, I will give them that. The downside is, we are playing great, Akron isn't, yet we are still scrambling to even be tied. Hopefully they can at least keep playing tough in the second half.
On a side note - Groce looks like the Dean from the TV show Community.
So we traded a 5th year QB for a Redshirt Freshman DB within the MAC? Seems like we may have gotten the better end of the deal if he can produce. EMU and WMU will have to exchange a player to be named later.
