I really didn’t think size was a huge factor. The team just took a lot of bad shots. Bad shot selections. the chances were there. 72 shot attempts and you’re only hitting 36%. That’s gotta change. I thought their ball movement was missing last night. But I was really happy with their first half performance. I thought they still rebounded well for being the smaller team. Oh, and another good game from the free throw line. Which is big. Overall, these guys gotta shoot the ball better. And they will.

Let’s get back on topic, did anyone catch the Harvard game last night? Bit of an ugly offensive performance from Harvard. I gotta say, UB has an opportunity to come away with a win tomorrow if they don’t beat themselves.

Stop it, he had all the tools last season to win that MAC championship and bowl game. Lance’s conservative style since he showed up has been nothing less than boring and unappealing. Not surprised they lost in that fashion because he gets out coached often.

The problem is priority seating. Call the ticket office and let them break it down for you and then you’ll realize why attendance so far is trash.

Agreed. I don’t even care about winning, I just wanna see some defense, play hard, and make the buckets you’re supposed to make. Buffalo could have beat Dartmouth but it Buffalo only beating themselves. They have the ability to be competitive. But, it’s up to the players to make the plays needed.

After UB lost to Dartmouth, a considerably bad loss, it’s time to look at the bright side. #1 Kentucky lost to Evansville, about as bad of a loss as it will get in college basketball. Moral of this post for everyone to realize, bad losses happen, even to the best teams. I figured this is a good way to gain some perspective for the future of this season.

You’d be surprised how many players fail to live up to their recruit ranking. But I think Jeenathan is on the right path in his development. Same with Rondo.

Really? The only teams who look remotely decent are probably Toledo and maybe BG.

I must say, Josh Mballa has been impressive. All 3 games so far he’s shown a lot of athleticism and ability to make a play.

That’s exactly what the game is, especially after Dartmouth. Give the guys something to be happy about and move on to the next game.

It’s more or less a game that will get news guys involved and get them to gain some confidence. It’s gonna be a game by game process to see what everyone’s role is, because of how many new faces there are.
