  1. I don’t think it is a better job but does money mean more and the fact he is losing his entire starting five with the unknown of who will be on the team next year weigh on what his decision will be. Just another team that could be on the downward trend like Canisius and Niagara from years past. Go Bulls!!!
  2. gree, the plane was reving up and ready to taxi. As soon as we heard that the Alabama brass were at Oats home it was goodbye and thanks for the memories. Go Bulls!!!
  3. Do agree. It was a tough matchup with their size and quickness. After looking at the flow of the game there were close to 10-12 shots especially from Summer and Woolley that did not go in and most were close range shots that especially from Woolley that went in during the season. It did look like Woolley was nervous at the start and then as the game went on became frustrated with her misses. She really looks like a heck of a player as a freshman and is a big time force on the defensive end having 7 steals. Her 7 turnovers were a tough pill to swallow but with more experience and becoming even more comfortable and confident should improve. Again just a great and exciting season and if the team stays together along with the coaching staff should promise to be another exciting year. If! If! If! Hope! Hope! Hope! Go Bulls!!!
  4. Do agree Alabama lost their three players in Petty, Jones and Reese who were their heart and soul especially on defense and all the 4/5 star recruits could not make up for their loss and if you have a coach who does not or can not change how a team plays. They continued to to shoot 3’s and play a lot of one on one ball with defense not a priority and did not look like Oats could not change their mental side of the game. Even if you have all the talent in the world if you can not get them to play together as a team the results are what they are. Will see what kind of coach Oats and that coaching staff will be next year.
  5. Do agree. Just too much size that wore us down. We needed big games from Summer, Woolley and Adeyeye and they all fell short. Summer missing a lot of shots in the paint, Adeyeye with her bug-a-boo all year being in foul trouble and Woolley a really rough shooting day. Fair with her great game and effort as usual. Wilson is the one player that should of got more time than Christie or Gaba. Wilson does look like she could become a very good post player with her size and strength. Overall a rough shooting day that will not win many games against a quality opponent. Nothing to be ashamed about as they all played their hearts out and had a tremendous season and gave us again great memories to last a lifetime.
  6. The story of how long coaches stay at colleges seems like it has changed over I am not sure how many years. The days of how long coaches stay now are determined not only on how their record is but on how much money they aspire to make. I am sure their are cases all over the country where coaches are content and happy at one college is spite of record or income. Good example is Sue Guevara at CMU who was there for 12 years before retiring and I know she could of left many times due to her success at CMU. In today’s culture of coach firings and leaving for greener pastures we have to live in the moment and enjoy the journey and as I have said before remember all the great times with the teams we are supporting. As I told many of the coaches and players at the March madness seeding party on Sunday “Thanks for the memories that will last a lifetime.” Go Bulls!!!
  7. Do agree. I know there are other cool’s looking for coaches. Does it come down to the fit being right or big big bucks!!!
  8. There are two other coaches that might be in the running for Syracuse job and both are now assistant coaches at ACC schools now. Hope against hope that Coach Jack will stay here. Go Bulls!!!
  9. That would be a great memory like when we took down Arizona and beat them convincingly. Go Bulls!!!!
  10. Do you see ESPN just posted their top 25 players for the tournament and of course Fair was not in the top 25. Fair 4th in the nation in scoring and not even a mention. Just another indication all their attention is on the top teams and don’t give mid majors or lower conferences any press. Sad that it is all about the money they can generate. Go Bulls!!
  11. Thank you for putting it in short and right to the point words. Go Bulls!!!
  12. Wholeheartedly disagree. Many people were brought up to be respectful of others and treat others like you would want to be treated. Sadly the culture today is the opposite. It is a sad commentary of the world today. Where is the responsibility and accountability. To say that it is the way it is now and that people of good moral fiber can’t change the wrongs is another sad commentary. Hope springs eternal.
  13. It should not matter if it is the first game or the championship game if these players or any players regardless of their statue on the team there has to be consequences. Responsibility and accountability are sorely lacking in today’s sports world. Again what were these kids thinking and with all the social network that is out there.
  14. Do agree. We average between the 1,000-2,000+ usually per game. It is usually an enthusiastic crowd. As I have said over the last few years the most disappointing aspect is the student attendance. Again where is the true blue and the administration in their efforts to change the culture among the student population. I know it is only my opinion but the women’s teams over the last number of years has been exciting and entertaining. Our family will continue to support both our teams. Go Bulls!!!
  15. Our family will be there. Hope for a decent crowd. Do not understand why more UB fans do not attend/support this team that has been exciting and entertaining as the men. Oh well, we will support both teams forever even if the students don’t for both teams. Go Bulls!!!
  16. Do agree. This team is a total reflection of Coach Jack and staff. The last half of the season had many games where they did not panic and seemed to have belief in each other as a team. Even in the home game Ball State beat us we still had two good looks under the basket to tie the game. To think of the success of this team and what this program has achieved is unbelievable and the players we have seen just to name a few - Reid, Dillard and now Fair and Woolley just to name a few. It has been exciting and enjoyable and we will have memories to pass on and will last a lifetime. How many more times will we be able to celebrate championships with both the fans and players. I hope there will be more in my lifetime. Go Bulls!!!
  17. A little bit of panic when they turned the ball over in the last minute and a half but they persevered. Go Bulls!!!
  18. Selection show/celebration at Alumni Arena Sunday. Doors open at 7:30, 8:00 start. Go Bulls!!!
  19. Do agree. Sometimes the passion can bring out the best and sometimes the worst in us. It is how you learn from some of the weakness or mistakes of taking things too personal. I have apologized many times to people if I go overboard on my comments. Section 114 of course is the best but than I am partial. our family have been in the top row for years and years and have had a great time and usually go out afterwards for drinks and eats. Just great time spent with family and friends. I think that is what life is all about. Depending on where the women end up we are considering going to support them. Go Bulls!!
  20. Will there be a selection party somewhere for the team and fans. It is supposed to be Sunday.
  21. What a great competitive game and as UB has done the last half of the year they continue to fight and claw and play as a team. Woollley has had great 2nd halves almost the entire season where quiet in the first but turns it on in crunch time. Just another exciting memory for our program and for all the fans, Go Bulls!!!
  22. Agree. Our family were at the game today and yes it was the most dominant game yet. Their defense was stifling and it never let up. Both the offense and defense had no bad stretches the entire game. Coach Jack had a great game plan and the women followed it to a tee. They played primarily zone but continued to switch between man and zone with Akron totally confused. This is what a great coached game looks like and of course the players have to execute and they did that in beautiful fashion. We did see a totally locked in effort and there seemed like a different look in the eyes of the entire team. Just so proud of this team as they did endure injuries during the year. Should be another tough game tomorrow as Ball State has some size of the front line and of course the coach who rants on the officials the entire game. Let’s win and have an NCAA selection show celebration. Go Bulls!!!
  23. Root for all the WNY schools except of course only am UB fan when playing against us. Still follow teams of our former coaches. Hey with Arizona State and Alabama both losing and really under performing maybe coaches on the hot seat!! Just joking!! Go Bulls!!
  24. Does anyone know update on Woolley? Seen her in a walking boot after the game?? Go Bulls!!
  25. Great recognition for all three and the reason we have a good opportunity to win the MAC tourney. Go Bulls!!!
