Crazy to see how this program has grown. Competing with power 5 teams for recruits now and continued success will only improve on that.

All of these are good points and definitely should be considered. Personally I’m a student that doesn’t have any money to give to the school right now lol. However I think we’re playing it safer than the Arkansas fans. An Arkansas-based radio station reached out to Hawkins telling him to message them personally on twitter. I doubt any of us have directly messaged him but still it’s best to play it safe

Exactly. Every response from Buffalo fans he gets could make a small difference in helping him feel welcomed and comfortable here which could sway his decision. I could be wrong but I think recruits are allowed 5 full paid official visits so if we make the list that would be big

This is purely just based off speculation but given how nearly every home game this season has been standing room only, perhaps sometime in the future the school may consider expanding the arena's seating capacity? Obviously there are more pressing needs such as keeping Oats and getting the dedicated practice facilities he is asking for which should be covered first. If we continue this success for the foreseeable future, the university should at least consider it. We have room surrounding the arena to expand the seating to possibly have a bowl format. The empty space corners which currently have no seating could be turned into additional seating. Standing room only puts a cap on the school's revenue per game, surely as the program grows they would look to expand? Again, purely just an idea

The JUCO offers that we currently have out are all quality players and I would be more than happy to have one of them sign however I really hope our last two scholarships go to Hawkins and one of the Williams. JUCO provides more experience, but we need more true freshmen next year for future seasons sake

He's taken the attitude that he is a high major only player based off his tweets. Good player, but I don't think we'll be seeing him in a Bulls jersey
