Same high school as CJ 😧, looks to be a stud though. Maybe being in on him early will help us in the process as it has in the past.

2020 Juco guard. Transferred from St. Peter’s after redshirting freshman year. Averaged 26 ppg at temple Junior college. Getting high major interest apparently now.

Would this mean he is eligible right away? Could Nigel John not be a sure thing maybe if we’re reaching out to Hardnett?

Looks like we should be getting a commitment soon. Just an outstanding job by the coaching staff addressing our need for big men and getting two high quality recruits in skogman and John. Nickelberry, mballa and gallion round out what looks to be another fantastic class for us. Losing all our recruits and managing to pull these kids in is just an amazing job.

John did favorite this tweet about UB recruiting along with other tweets about UN... have to think we’re strongly in the running for him.

was committed to North Dakota but just backed out due to coaching change. Had an offer from UB in his recruiting process. 3 star player. Again recently followed by coach Jenkins lol.

What is even the sense of arguing over this. It’s a good game against a top team in a good showcase. May or may not end up on national tv. Either way it’s a short drive, and I can’t wait to see the other 2 games as well.

I don't want to get too speculative, but came across Nigel John on twitter. Recently followed by both Coach Quarles and Jenkins. One time commit to Washington State. John also followed a lot of UB accounts on twitter as well.

I don’t see anybody saying anything about us getting him on Twitter or anywhere else. Would still be a good get if there is some chance we land him.

Any talk of any other possible recruits?

this is actually really neat. I forgot why he had to stop playing, but keeping him around the team is a real classy move.

Actually feel happy for him that he gets to stay at a school close to him and play at a very high level still. Kid was nothing but class during the time he was committed here and through the whole process of changing coaches as well. Wish him nothing but the best.

Obviously not very highly recruited but that doesn’t mean anything really. CJ and Perkins weren’t that highly recruited and look how that turned out. Have to trust the coaching staff knows what they’re doing, and I definitely do.
