To be fair it’s hard to win an away game and the team is probably exhausted from the travel but the coach has to find a way. Maybe if they had left a day earlier for the game?
Let’s use this as a learning. What tactics and strategies can we pick up from Canisius. If we can mimic their game we may be able to win one or two in the MAC, instead of zero
I think we’re just grateful to be able to play in an NCAA tournament arena in front of a home crowd. Whitesell just wants to make sure the team has fun and enjoys it. Winning isn’t important, especially when playing a team of such caliber.
This Canisius team is amazing, probably one of the better teams in the NCAA. Glad they’re letting us play them. It’s good experience for our team when we play in conference .
Spoon is looking good for his age and I think better shape than I’ve seen him the past few years. Glad he’s finding personal success, if not athletic success.
Hodgson: ethics issues
Pitino: morals issues
Are either of these categories of issues worse than the other? If you ask Alabama or Iona the question itself is irrelevant.
Canisius and Niagara are the same conference but if they have a rivalry they don’t really show it. Bona and UB are the only good local D1 teams for many years so naturally it’s more fun to watch them play each other than the other local teams. Sometimes I forget the other schools even have teams.
