I would expect donor money to continue to rise, UB came back to division 1 in the mid to late 90's. It's still a young program With a push and concentration on athletics starting then that would put those students going on 50ish. Which I would guess is the main donor base Add in the fact UB is starting to put out more and more professional athletes in both big money sports football and basketball

Only a matter of time before football conferences are completely separated from other sports conferences They already do this in non football/basketball sports already (see hockey/baseball/soccer). Just a matter of time before football is completely separate I wonder if the sec or big ten eventually comes after G5 schools in attempt to completely control all college football

it would be really interesting in a merger as the foot print would be large but all the schools are somewhat similar profiles athletically

Starting a brand new league would be incredibly difficult but I 100 percent agree the best conference for UB is one that doesn't exist (yet) To me it would make more sense/easier to expand the Mac to the east coast, imagine if they were able to add temple, UMass, and if you're looking into acc schools a Boston college or another bigger fish like uconn If the Mac has no interest in expanding UB needs to start looking elsewhere but I don't believe that the Mac doesn't want to expand

Also believe the Mac is in good position to try to expand. Western Kentucky and middle Tennessee would have been nice additions The consistency and loyalty of the Mac will be a huge positive as long as they too try to expand and grab teams that would be fits

If the acc gets picked apart similarly to the pac 12, would the Mac be in position to grab some schools similar to how the mountain west is? Because if they're not they should try to get in position

He played well to end the season and in the g league last season, I'm sure a team will sign him
