What do you think of the goalie for northeastern this year? As good as advertised?

I like the idea, its bold and kinda creative I don't watch enough of the womens team to know how she would do with the in game tactics But I know she would get guys to buy in and play hard. Also love that she genuinely seems to love ub and buffalo as a whole

Pure speculation on my part, but I don't think alnutt was caught off guard by oats. I think he was caught off guard by the guys also leaving with oats to Alabama. Imagine that the line of succession was in place everyone would be promoted and moved up. Thats also valid question to ask especially with only a few years left on his deal If he wins the Mac, barring it being a 3 day run as an 8 seed. You definitely look to extend him in my opinion

Not necessarily root but I've really enjoyed every texas tech game I've watched this season Their defense is awesome, usually offense is what entertains but the they play defense is fun to watch

A player I'm excited to see how he develops over the off season Think he should have been used more this season personally. When he was aggressive he was a tough match up Also his defense improved dramatically over the season

Hypothetical: If ub misses cleveland next year, you believe ub will come back with whitesell? We seem to be on the same page and curious your opinion but if they miss cleveland I can't see them bringing him back for a 3rd year. We talk about the oats momentum on this board. So a lot of talk about the Reggie days In my opinion a big part of why reggie was fired was because Danny white knew he had Bobby Hurley that would coach the team. That really was a win win situation. Even if Bobby failed. Name recognition alone would be beneficial to the program Does Mark Alnutt have a Bobby Hurley in his pocket? If so we may see a new coach, if not you have to let whitesell succeed or fail this coming season. This will fully be his team. Not many excuse will be able to be made I really don't think a big search from scratch this offseason for a new coach is beneficial to the school/program going forward. If you got someone ready to go I'm all for it though

Status quo: roster filled with similar transfers and a couple more freshmen. Whats the expectation for nexts years team? I would still have top 5 expectations

I mean this staff should get credited with segu/williams/mballa development. They were sophomores when they took over. And far from a finished product Then skogman has progressed nicely, hardnett took a step back this season

I do really like the guys returning Think its a great mix of talent and personality

I think the similarities are there for sure, slightly different in my opinion but can make a connection Reggie ran a very good program, different to what it is today but it was very good. Just couldn't win the Mac tournament I think whitesell runs a very good program but is having difficulties also winning the tournament I think thats why whitesell is such a hot button topic and has been for a while, he runs a good program day to day but in game coaching he lacks

I think there are some risks, we had a pretty solid freshman class sign and sit this whole season. They will have the experience of at least practicing against the current team and seeing how they went about the day to day We know of one recruit that seems to be very promising If we hire a poor choice this off season and end up in the 8 to 12 range of the Mac - we have a long road ahead to get back to where we are today as a top mac school The safe play yet again would be to keep whitesell this next season. Let whitesell completely bury himself. Hope the freshmen show up and make the job a bit more attractive since the appearance won't be that a new coach has to start from complete scratch

Think we are right where we were when Hurley was hired Does alnutt have a guy like Bobby Hurley he knows 100% will accept the job? If he does he may make a move but hiring/firing at the mid major level is always a dangerous game

Don't know if this helps or hurts your argument but he is 2-2 in cleveland 2-3 in the Mac tournament. The loss happened in Alumni
