  1. Not expecting this to age well but..... Toledo gonna Toledo
  2. Gonna agree to disagree on this one I've watched plenty of georgia st games this season and each game I always came away thinking georgia state had more talent but couldn't put it together. They would turn the ball over at bad times, seem to rush and take way too many heat check shots. Even player usage as well (although admittedly im no expert on the ga st roster) A lot of the complaints/questions/concerns fans have had of whitesell they would have of Lanier as well Both teams play similar styles as well both like to run and play aggressive defense. Although georgia st will press a bit more than ub I'm a big Lanier fan and thought buffalo was the perfect place for him and last night was excited to see that he is going dancing
  3. Whitesell and Lanier are shockingly similar And both teams under performed compared to their expectations this season
  4. Same I don't think there are high expectations or any at all really At this point I'm just here now for the craziness of March and hoping it helps the bulls. If not it's onto next season and the hope a new season brings
  5. This is a really good point A large portion of the roster is turning over which would mean a clean slate if a new coach comes in Honestly it may come down to alnutt's opinion of the new comers blocker, mading, jones and Williamson. That and what whitesells future plan is. Alnutt is a football guy but he was around a successful Missouri basketball program at one point so hopefully he knows what to look for in coaches as well as players/students
  6. If ub actually makes a run, there could be a debate that the championship game would be the easiest game (opinion akron is tougher than Kent and Ohio has been reeling)
  7. A horizontal line and a vertical line That can't be good
  8. Only positive I got is that all the hot 3pt shooting we are facing now, means that we will face cold shooting next week lol
  9. Nice game to have The out of conference schedule already looking like a good challenge
  10. When hardnett first came in he brought some much needed energy and made a couple defensive stops Honestly probably should have used both hardnett and skogman together more. Both had what seemed positive plays
  11. If he does use his extra year Minutes still to be had here so that gives ub a chance But I see him going the way of Jackson from Toledo last season leaving for a power conference team Speaking of which imagine this Toledo team with him
  12. Not disagreeing but if his opinion or goal is nba or g league his best route would be through college in my opinion
  13. If his goal is the NBA, he seems like someone that would benefit another year in school. But sadly I don't know if it makes sense at ub from his point of view. Would hope it is at ub though
  14. Toledo reminds me of the ub team that beat arizona in round one Gonna be very good next year
  15. If I see Whitehall get a couple techs and tossed from this game.....i might reset my opinion on him
  16. I'm getting close to the point where I may just try to enjoy their shooting because its a historic type pace
  17. And was that not continuation?
  18. The Toledo shooting is insane A little late now but a hard close out foul would have been very useful earlier
  19. Tough to watch. Lets hope the seniors don't want to go down like this on senior night
  20. First mistake by Toledo- letting ub tie the ball up without much fight
  21. Just dis organized all around for the most part
  22. Hardnett with some great defense
  23. They are trying to switch everything which highlights one of ubs weaknesses - defensive communication Maybe assigning someone to rollins & shumate would help
  24. Going back to the last 10 minutes of the first game, ub has no answer defensively to stop Toledo
