  2. It’s more or less a fear of, new coach on a new team, looking for players to fill spots. We all could be a little paranoid on the subject, we’re all hoping for some good news on the recruiting front
  3. I think it’s more or less one of those things where a player picks up a hat from a table. His friend may have decided to commit through social media and Kuluel wanted to wait to do it in front of friends and family. If it was another offer I’d believe he’d wait longer than just two days. Just like Zachery did when the UCF offer came in
  4. I can see it, he seems to be in good terms with that coach. He’s also liked a few of Cincys posts about his hire. You’re right we may have lost him. I hope not though 🤞
  5. Also UNCG offered him before he committed to Howard, the coach may have backed off since
  6. I believe it was due to an error with the place he was going to do his signing, moving the date to Friday. Hopefully it isn’t a clever cover for another offer but there’s no proof of interest by Cincy, tomorrow we will find out
  7. This is just an idea but a recruiting website said Kuluel can also play SF, though he appears to be a prototypical center/PF. Hardnett showed flashes of being a great three point shooter and with nickleberry and Fagan possibly deciding to graduate, could hardnett make a move to SF at all? Having three tall PF types on the court would be a heck of a mismatch and be able to overpower teams with smaller forwards. Just my opinion but it looks like Whitesell and the staff like to go Forward heavy, I could see that as a possibility
  8. I don’t believe anyone swooped in, I looked at Cincinnati’s forum and they don’t mention him at all. Also I looked at Wichita’s forum, it appears that they were once on Kuluel but have backed off and are no longer in contact
  9. I don’t know why but I’m nervous for Friday, even though he seems like a 💯 lock. Just want some good news on the recruiting front
  10. His video shows him shooting some threes, has a pretty clean shot. Not the level of shooter as Skogman but still nice for an almost 7 footer
  11. Ok I won’t deep dive too much, was more hoping to find some new social media to follow for commitments, offers and interest
  12. Oh I was trying to find out more about Kuluels commitment @Kevin said he had a source
  13. What sources?!? You must have some nice info, can’t find much
  14. Hopefully foleys clout in the Juco ranks helps us
  15. Look like they might go juco route on a guard, so we don’t hear all that much
  16. Foley is a big name recruiter in the JUCO ranks, made Chipola a powerhouse. Hopefully his name and experience help us recruit JUCO players across the country. Some teams don’t realize the talent pool in the juco ranks
  17. Saw that coming, they’re in need of a starting caliber guard. It’s going to be tough for us to get a commitment but I confident we will. Many of these transfers want to start, not come off the bench. I’m hoping we go and grab a freshman/sophomore guard we can develop and doesn’t mind coming off the bench
  18. I went to Siena while he was there, was also in the dorm next to me. He’s a great guy but highly doubt he’ll jump mid majors. He’s a power 5 player
  19. I wonder if he is thinking he wants to play closer to home? UB would be the perfect place. The other possibility is he wants to play at a power 5 school, can’t see him playing much at a bigger school
  20. hopefully the coaches jump on this quick
  21. Hopefully by fall, covid won’t be a huge problem. I’m not pushing anyone to get vaccinated if they don’t want it but by then enough people should be vaccinated or immune
  22. Love this take, we are still a top 100 team in the nation. There are over 1000 names in the portal and we are out there looking. I say let’s be patient and start to judge when we hit the court next season. Let’s remember that CJ only held one offer and turned into one of UB’s best players. We could find a diamond in the rough somewhere
  23. I thought he was just trigger happy and was trying too hard to impress, if he settles down and plays like we know he can (coastal production), he could be a nice volume shooter
